Hi, do these handle come pre oiled/waxed? Thanks

Hi. They have a slight sheen to them but i dont think its wax or oil on them. You could paint them or stain them if you wanted to.

What are the centres between the fixing bolts?

Hello, Thank you for your message. The distance between the drill holes is 96mm. Many thanks, Chris.

I can't tell from the picture, are these a solid long box of wood or do they have a recess to get some purchase?

they are solid with bolt fittings to go through the door- very much like standard kitchen cabinets- you could always glue them if you need more but mine haven't budged
