Reliable and does the job!
Purchased Sonos Arc with no passthrough. This is feeding from Sky Stream, Apple TV and Blueray. Encountered a quirk with the optical out to my Sony headphone base station with Apple TV - I just forced Apple TV into 5.1 output and that sorted it - minor issue if I don't want to disturb the neighbours. Sonos App shows Atmos is present - not that I would rave about the impact of Atmos on the Arc. Guess I need Era 300 surrounds - sigh! Compatible with my Harmony remote which helps.

Game Changer
The ease of use, the sound quality, picture quality and 4k support is an absolute game changer! I had been struggling to get anything remotely looking like DTS Surround from my LG TV, this little box means I can now have DTS (not MA/X because I have a Sonos) but I have even got a way of mixing down the DTS MA to Dolby 5.1 with the click of a few buttons. Great value for money and would highly recommend.

Rubbish
Had so many issues with this so returned it. Kept needing to be rebooted, loads of audio dropouts all the time and incorrect audio being sent randomly.

Well, it works but not 100%
Well, it works. It's not 100%. Hopefully, I'll get an update? Playing a 4K Star Wars movie very now and again the soundtrack cuts out of a split second, And it's very now and again! It can be very frustrating as it is random. It done it again on the 4K the Abyss . But it seems ok on the blu ray! But I will need more testing as I haven't played all the way through on a blu ray at the moment. It seems ok on streaming .But I have a problem with the sound as it's not as loud as the HD fury and it seems to have a small A/V Sync, but I'm not 100% sure on this. It as Sorted out the rainbow effect on my Optomo that's one good thing. One thing I don't like is the plug in for the remote. Hopefully the next one will be better! A week later I'm happy to say it works 99% I'm still not happy with the A/V sync on the 4K but a cheaper then a HD Fury. I'm thinking about getting one more 🤔. Update you need to reset it sometimes ie unplug it to get working again fully ie get Dolby Atmos back. Still not 100% on blu ray. I'm going to fit an on/off switch on the main lead so I won't need to unplug it or take out the main lead out of the back of it. It's my work around as it be easier for me in the long run.

Great product, but it does have its problems
I got this to switch between my Sky Q box, Apple TV, PS5 and Series X to my projector, whilst taking an eARC signal to my Soundbar. It does all of this perfectly, no noticeable lag whilst using the consoles and the 5.1 has never sounded so good. The remote makes it easy to flick between the four inputs. For this it gets three stars. It loses two for being an expensive unit that needs to be rebooted every single time you want to use it. Even if it’s only been off for 10 minutes. I hoped going through the painfully bad Chinese translation of updating the firmware would solve the issue, but unfortunately it hasn’t. I was going to hide it behind the media unit, but it has to be easily accessible to pull the power cable out and straight back in. It’s not enough of a problem to send it back to replace as others have reported the same problem. Fingers crossed the manufacturer sorts this out in future updates.

Allows your TV to Output Atmos Audio to Soundbars
My modern-ish TV does not support eARC fully - i use a Sonos Beam Gen 2 (with sub and surrounds) - and it often got inconsistent Atmos across services/players - it wouldn't work with my Sony 4K player. This product resolved this issue for me. Perfect and consistent Atmos support across everything I need. Only downside for me is the annoyingly bright blue LED lights - resolved by black tape so not a massive problem.

Many issues, not sure if it's my setup or not..
I wanted to like it. In theory, it was ideal for me. However, I seem to have faced all the problems mentioned in the reviews :(. Maybe it's the fact that I'm using a PC and a monitor... What I experienced: - Black screens - Audio cutouts - Only stereo through ARC, both with Copy mode and even with Atmos 7.1 setting. - No 240Hz @ 3440x1440 (only 120hz) The only way to make it output 5.1/7.1 to my AVR was the Atmos 7.1 setting, and even then, only in HDMI input mode (as in, connecting to an input on the AV receiver, not the ARC port). I don't know why, but I could believe this is the fault of my very old Yamaha receiver... I had to try all combinations, and nearly gave up, before I discovered this one that worked. The above setup would have been fine, of course. I used it for about two days. However, the display going black or the audio cutting out occasionally, I couldn't ignore. It was way too distracting. Argh :( Another thing to note is that the Copy function seems to copy my monitor's audio setup, which of course is only stereo. Why can't the EZCOO copy the audio setup of the AVR instead? That would have allowed Windows to output 5.1 audio. I imagine that's a problem that will affect most standard TV + soundbar setups, so it's strange that the device defaults to the Copy mode. I admit I'm not an expert, so I could be wrong about all this. My setup: - Monitor with HDMI 2.1 - Resolution: 3440x1440, 21:9 aspect ratio - I also tried with an older monitor with HDMI 1.4, I think - also 21:9 - GPU with HDMI 2.1 output - HDMI 2.1 certified cables. 2m max length each. From the GPU to the monitor, the total length of the cables was 3m: GPU -> 1m cable -> EZCOO -> 2m -> monitor (also EZCOO -> 1m -> AVR). I don't doubt it works in other set ups. More conventional ones, perhaps, like 4K 16:9, with no PC involved. It might be worth a try for you.

A HDMI box that works
I have a Loewe TV and they are a real problem with external soundbars so I decided to try this HDMI switch. This works 100% on all my devices using the soundbar as audio source. I have tried 3 other cheaper versions but they don’t output 5.1 & 7.1 Atmos, this one does. £150 HDMI switch is cheaper than a new TV, highly recommended.

It does the job but is slow and buggy
The device is handy but I'd like it was more simple. I still don't know what the left buttons are for but It does the job. My complaints are that it won't let me update the firmware because the software becomes unresponsive after opening it. Also, to have to put a sensor for the remote looks ugly and messy. After a while I lost the remote and I have to change channels manually or it will switch automatically to other channels when I turn something connected to it. Sometimes I will also get stuck and I wont get any sound until I unplug the power and it resets. Very annoying.

Funktioniert
