Finally, all my tools are secure AND dry!
I've had a combination of tool boxes in my truck (F250) for a while. I've hesitated on the Decked box because of the price. My other tool boxes leaked terribly. I have an 8" lift and the old boxes were up against the cab. As a result, it got to be too big a pain in the rear to get to my tools (for example to change a tire for someone). And did I mention, every time it rained heavier than a light drizzle, my tools got wet. Tool bags molded, tools rusted, etc. I finally bit the (relatively large) bullet and sprung for the Decked system. It came in one big, heavy box. Amazon said about 3-4 weeks to deliver. The shipper called to arrange delivery and it was in my driveway within a week! It's not a difficult assembly, but it's time consuming. am competent with tools, etc. and I had no issues. It took me about three hours to assemble and install. The instructions are good (and a bit humorous). Anyone with a minimal ability to follow instructions should be able to assemble this unit without difficulty. It wasn't too heavy to load into the truck, but it was a bit awkward. A second person would be helpful for that bit (as recommended in the instructions). But, everything went together as it was supposed to, and it fit perfectly in my truck. Now, everything is in its place and easily accessible from the ground, even with the lift. I've purchased the locks (separately), so the drawers are pretty secure too. All my stuff stays dry! Plus, I was able to take things I had under the back seat (previously inconvenient due to two car seats mounted in the back where I couldn't raise the seat without taking them out) and move them to the Decked drawers. Everything is now easily accessible. And, did I mention DRY! I was afraid I'd miss the bed depth. I might at some point. But, actually I was pleasantly surprised in that I can now reach things, like a cooler, that has migrated to the geographic center of the bed during travel, because it's not such a far reach on top of the Decked box. I do, however, have a couple of small beefs: . This is a $1400 toolbox. Honestly, they should throw in the locks (even if they bump the price to cover them); you shouldn't have to buy those separately. It's almost insulting to find they're not in the box. . The corner ammo cans - if you don't buy drain plugs (which I assume you can get again separately), you're instructed to drill two 1/2" holes in the bottom of each one so they don't hold water. After that, they're not going to be effective as ammo cans for anything smaller than a 12ga shell. Overall, I haven't decided if it's completely worth the cost. But it's definitely high quality and makes my tools/equipment much more useable. I haven't seen anything comparable.

This is an Amazing Storage System
This is a great system. It took me less than 2 hours to install by myself. I have a topper my truck, so it took a little longer due to the tighter fit. I'm 63 and in decent shape. Everything went together really well. I added the carpet to the top to keep my dog from slipping. The Milwaukee boxes are attached to Bases and then attached to the Stash Bin covers to keep them from sliding or falling over. The drawers roll really well. I have them both loaded up with tools and no problems at all. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion, well worth it. One thing to note, if you order a "Halftrack" or "Sixer 16" box, they come with trays so you don't need to order separately. It's not real clear weather you get the trays with the boxes......so I ended up with extra trays. It's a great system, Now go get one!

Easy install, value storage system
Update 4/7/17: I have had this Decked system for a couple years. It is holding up perfectly with zero issues. I have removed and reinstalled the deck 4 times now over that period of time and the process is simple enough that I can do it by myself. I use it hold all my bird hunting gear over the winter (guns, ammo, mud boots and jackets) and the locking mechanism comes in handy. After using it for that period of time, I am more impressed with it now. Nothing I would change on it. My truck is a 2013 Ford F-150 short bed 5'6" Platinum series crew cab with a spray in liner. My goal for the Decked system was to provide me a secure place to keep my pheasant hunting guns, gear and ammo throughout the season without having to remove it from my truck every night. I go hunting at least once a week with my 2 dogs and I do not have the space in the cab for everything, so I needed a system for the bed. Was also looking for it to be an easy place to store random stuff (groceries, etc) in seasons other than hunting. You should also know that I am not a tradesman so putting it together was going to be a challenge. It was not, in fact it was easy and fun and took me 2 hours by myself. When I ordered the system I received a call from DECKED to confirm my order and to ask questions about the installation. This was a big relief because it made me feel like I had them behind me, rather than just s generic Amazon buy. I asked a few basic questions about fit regarding my spray in liner, the truck bed gate fit, and all my questions were answered. The shipping company dropped it off in one large cardboard crate. No palate so that made disposal very easy. Opened the box when I had a free night and started assembling the pieces. You assemble it into sub assemblies so it is very easy to move along in the installations, first the passenger side assembly and then the drivers side. Then the drawers and final assembly finishes it off. Check out YouTube, there are a lot of instructional videos that I looked over in advance of the crate showing up. With the Ford there was the need to replace the cab side anchor brackets, which they provided the replacements for. You need a Torx30 driver to accomplish this. Other than that you basically just need a socket set, a few box wrenches, a phillips screw driver and some needle nose pliers. It does take up about a foot or vertical space in your truck bed, so be aware of that. I do have a removable 3 piece truck bed cover that I put on after this install, and I am left with about a foot of usable space above the deck and below the cover. The cover went back on with no problems. Lessons learned: 1. Keep the anchor j-bolts loose on each side until you finish piecing it together to tighten evenly. 2. The rollers under the drawers are tough to get on (you install them after the drawer in in place) so plan on that taking some time and frustration. 3. Go methodically through the install one subassembly at a time and work through it. 4. Lay out all the hardware bags when you open that box to determine if you have everything you need. Each bag is marked with a letter and number for identification. 5. Finally, there was concern for me about my step assist from Ford that is in the bed gate and the fit with the drawers. Mine was not a problem and I did not need the extensions. The Decked representative that called me after I placed my order gave me the advice to wait and see if it was a problem before I ordered the fix for it, good advice from her it turned out. I did order the locks as well as the dividers. Both work as designed. All things considered, I give it 5 stars for value versus the competing solutions, ease of installation and functionality.

Easy to install due to the high quality of the product and precision of the manufacturing all bolts lined up perfectly and all hardware was high quality. You can definitely tell that this product was made in the USA. The included accesories (Decked Boxes) and organizers are really high quality. If there was one draw back I would say that it is the fact that the drawers only pull out 2/3 of the way making it a bit of a pain to get to things stored in the back part of the drawer. I'm assuming this is necessary due to the weight when loaded. Would love to see a full height system I could keep my golf clubs in. Worth the money and I would strongly!
