Highlights:1. If you get the kind that comes with an SD card, you need to transfer the games to a new card asap. They're cheap and slow and the system itself has a difficult time reading them.2. The wifi feature makes this an awesome system. It automatically connects to Retro Achievements so you can post your scores.3. The screen is fairly large, picture quality is great.4. Supposedly this can be connected to your tv to use as a console but we haven't tried that yet.Like I said, I won Christmas. I find gift giving to other adults an almost impossible task - most adults I know just buy the stuff they want. My husband is a huge retro gamer and does speed runs and ....other stuff(?)... on Twitch. There's a Discords. There's marathons. I don't know, it's a thing.In any case, I don't know what systems he plays or what games he wanted but I knew he didn't have one of these and it seemed cool! I took a chance because for the price it's pretty affordable and it said it came with a ton of retro games. When my husband opened it on Christmas he was surprised I got him a video game thing but he was very skeptical of it (I am a novice and don't know anything about video games, after all). He later shared that he knew about simulators but never really saw the point since he has literally all of the video game consoles and all of the retro games and can play whatever he wants in his gamer room.However, fast forward and it's been 3 months and he plays it literally every day. He doesn't use his gaming room as much because this thing is just so convenient for him - he can play it in bed or while watching the kids or just hanging out in the living room watching movies at night. He was skeptical about the games that were included but when he went through them all he was genuinely shocked at how many are included on the sd cards. Not all of them work and obviously the controls are better for some games rather than others, but overall it's been a fun set up.This is definitely the best gift I've ever gotten him in terms of how much use he's gotten out of it and how much he enjoys playing with it. This would make a great gift for any guy in your life who likes playing games from the 90's and early 2000's.

This is a great handheld from Anbernic but i did return it because i wanted to get the new model (the rg40xx h, go check it out) but there were some issues with the psp games like choppy sound was on tekken 6 and there was a slow frame rate on most of the psp games. Great batttery life great build quality also very fun and easy to use. The screen also had some awesome graphichs. The battery life is a little fast on running out. But great functionality overall.

I purchased this handheld with the hopes of re-kindle some nostalgia spirit, playing the old games I remember from NES and Gameboy. After only three hours of Pokemon Red gameplay, everything went horribly wrong. The screen went all gray and locked up. After numerous resets and re-starts, nothing. Dead.After the following day of countless YouTube tutorials and Reddit help, still nothing. I knew the cheap price was too good to be true. Waste of money, item returned.

my son absolutely love this game no Wi-Fi need it. Nothing extra needed. Comes with everything you need. Works great battery last a long time has a nice sleeping mode. In case they fall asleep and inactive lovely purchase so far.

The sd card that comes with it is very cheap and would become "corrupted" frequently, requiring me to put it in computer to repair. It hangs on boot screen when it happens. Got a new SD card and flashed newest image from their website to the SD card using Rufus. Good to go. Sad something so important was so cheap.

Not every game is available to download but it's a fun device that can pair with others like it.

Love this handheld! Takes me back to my childhood on so many games! And it’s easy to add more if it’s not already in the library!

I purchase this because my 8yr old saw it on tik tok, he was so excited to get it on HIS BIRTHDAY just to be a complete waste! toy was not even working, never loaded any games and my little one was so upset! I have never had issues with amazon i want to make that clear, they just should not work with these vendors when their product is so bad!
