Sept. 2022 Edit: the pans I use for frying things have shown wear and are pretty unusable now. If I try to use them in this state I get smoking making me think the coating is compromised. I cannot get the dark spots off with a non abrasive sponge. I have not noticed the peeling that others have, but definitely the wear. I always use soft utensils and no scratch sponges, but can see little scratches. For under $200 for the set, I still think it's a good buy as this one pan gets almost daily use and has lasted 3-ish years but like others have said you need to take it easy with the heat and gentle with the cleaning.Original. I wanted something that was nonreactive and thought I would give these a try as my hard anodized set is starting to show the aluminum. These look really nice and feel lighter weight compared to the calphalon I was using. They conduct heat really well and like that I can use a lower flame. I have had no staining issues, and have even stored tomato sauce in one overnight. I do hand wash them and use silicone cooking utensils. After three months of use, I have noticed a couple of small chips in the rims which is likely due to storing with other pots and pans, so I wouldn't consider them as durable as calphalon, but I had the old school professional series, and really don't think anything will ever be as durable as those! If you are looking for an affordable, nice looking, non-stick set, I would give these a try.

I just purchased this set because I read that the hard idionized pans were unhealthy. I replaced an entire set of calaphalon (sp) for this Green Pan set. I hand owned my Calphalon set for approximately 7 years and had no issues with them other than reading they were unhealthy. This Green Pan set arrived well packaged and are absolutely beautiful and appear as described; however, I used the large casserole pan for the first time last night to make spaghetti sauce and I am not pleased with the outcome. It's the first and only piece I have used thus far out of the set. I followed all of the manufacturer's instructions, using a low temperature setting and nylon utensils. The piece held up wonderfully during the cooking process and the sauce came out wonderfully, never sticking during the slow simmering process. So, at this point I was a happy camper. After dinner and allowing the pan to become completely cold, I hand washed it in warm water with a soft soapy dish cloth. No matter how long I washed the pot, I could not get the orange stain from the spaghetti sauce off the interior bolt heads. They are permanently orange. In addition, the ceramic coating on the bolt heads are beginning to flake off - after just 1 use and washing. I attempted to comment about this problem directly with Amazon and the manufacturer, but the only option was to return or refund the entire set. I no longer have the box the set came in, and I am not able to repackage the set in the same manner it was received. Plus, why should I return the entire set instead of merely replacing the defective piece? Simply said, this is a much too expensive set to have these types of issues. I'm truly worried I made a mistake purchasing this set. Hopefully Amazon or Green Pan will reach out to me to resolve this issue. If so, I will update this review.

These pans are truly beautiful and the non-stick element is fantastic. Things slide out better than any pan we’ve owned and they’re super easy to clean. And while you could use metal and beat them up if you wanted to like they promote, it would be dumb because they chip like any other coated pan. The fine print even tells you that. I knew that and still put one resting on another in the dishwasher and got my first ding after a week. But I bought these knowing they would be lived in and when they did chip, there wouldn’t be anything harmful that came off or was exposed. This is why I don’t have the $500 sets anymore. We have tried almost every possible brand and you can’t get around them chipping unless you go with straight stainless steel. For now, these are very pretty and work really well. But don’t expect to keep them perfect unless you just don’t use them.

Gift for my wife for Christmas. She liked the set and it performed as advertised. Only flaw is that the non-stick finish was chipped along the edges of some if the pans.

We are a crunchy-ish family and were looking for a nontoxic, nonstick pan set for every day use. These are wonderful!! We do not even need to use butter/oil! Even washing is a breeze! Rinsing with water washes almost all food leftovers right off.

I have owned and used these pans for 8 months.Pros: pan colors look great, great non-stick, pans heat up quicklyCons: non-stick on rims chips easily and often (no matter how precious you are with them), one pan arrived already chipped, bottoms of pans stain easilyIf I had to do over again, I would not purchase these. You're buying them to work and look great. They only do one of those things.

I was so excited about these pans until I read instructions how to properly use and clean them. They are EXTREMELY fragile - you cannot clean with a sponge or brush, dishwasher not recommended, you must use only silicone utensils. These are not pans to be used everyday. The first time my husband used a pan, he put in the sink. A few utensils were put on top of it and it immediately scratched off the coating that is supposed to protect your food from being exposed to the metals underneath. Months after using, I have a full set of pans/pots that are scratched up including the ceramic coating. Defeats the whole purpose of buying “safe” products to cook food on. Super disappointed to the point I felt it necessary to write this review. READ instructions before purchasing and decide if this is the right product for you. Not recommended. 2 stars only because they are really pretty and I love the color.

Hard non-stick, easy to clean finish. Not the best in class, but second best at this price is a wise choice for college students, busy moms, and non-pretentious cooks.

I love my greenpans! They are perfect! Beautiful color and food just slip off the pan. The key is to use medium to low heat, as the ceramic conducts heat really well and high heat will cause the food to burn and stick to the pan.
