Fun Costume! No Belt Included.
This is a really fun costume - as the description states, no belt is included, and it kind of looks better with a belt. But almost everyone owns a black belt. The rest of the material is pretty comfy. It's kind of big and baggy, but that means it will fit many body types, and, crucially, over warm clothing for those people trick or treating on Halloween in the northern climes. A belt is thus necessary to make it seem not so huge.It definitely fits the medieval genre well - happy to have it for an easy dress up occasion!

Perfect attire for fantasy knights
I recently got an inflatable dragon rider costume, the kind that uses your legs for the dragon and has fake legs over it. Those fake legs are black, to blend in, but to add to the effect having a knight's tunic to cover up the seam between my torso and where the costume begins is a must to complete the effect. That's what this is: a black tunic and a red tabard with a black Maltese cross on top of it. I don't normally wear these colors, but the combination of black and red blends well with the inflatable dragon costume and the fake legs. As other reviewers noted, this color scheme actually makes the attire that of a Knight of Malta, not Templar. Generally speaking the closest attire was red with a white Maltese cross.Overall I like it, even if it's more fantastical than historically accurate.

Finishes my husbands Halloween costume
I was surprised this came in two pieces, I was expecting a single piece tunic. However this works fine to finish off my husband's knight costume. This would not work for daily use at a renaissance fair, but works fine for a night or two each year for Halloween.
