Ford Mustang 60 Years

A real coffee table book, lots of good photos but there wasn't much on the first generation 64-69 cars in detail, however it is a good read and the section on the Bullitt GT390 Mustang is well worth a look.

Having admired the Ford Mustang from afar since I was a child, at 57 years old, I finally bought my first Pony car this year (a 2022 GT) which I adore. This book caught my eye many months ago and I immediately pre-ordered it. It arrived today and as such, my review may seem a little premature. However, initial impressions sealed the deal and it's 5 stars all the way and I feel moved to give it an early 'thumbs up'. I arrived home from a business trip this evening and I've been reading it since I got in (I've just read the 'Bullitt' chapter which was very interesting). It features beautiful photographs spanning the history of the car and the accompanying text and photo descriptions are extremely well written. As a lover of books for the subjects that I'm passionate about (mostly music related), this is easily a £50.00 book and I would have gladly paid even more for it. It's fantastic value, considering its quality. I highly recommended this book to all Ford Mustang admirers and fans, owners or not. Given that fact that it's just been published, it would also make a terrific Christmas present.

The book is entertaining and informative. The book provides interesting stories about the history of the Mustang and the people involved in it's evolution. A must for folks who want to learn more about this American legend.
