Excellent pump for waterfall fountain
This pump is perfect for my waterfall fountain. Works great as an inline pump. I did have to buy an adapter but it was a standard part at the local hardware store. Nice and small. Quiet operation. Seems to be durable and well built. Electronic adjustability is nice.

great for the price.
Keep in mind the head pressure and distance because it will not give you the full gph amount. I am probably only getting about half, and I'm only about 4 feet up but with a few elbows. The pump for the price is great and very quiet. I run it continually with no issues, even considering placing my reef tank in my room since the overflow is the only noise it is generating. The only complaint I have with the pump is with the feeding button. They should have added it separately. If you're not careful, you can turn the pump off rather than pausing it for 10 minutes.

Poor QC, Cheap construction, and leaks.
There are many positive reviews from others, perhaps I got a bad unit. The seals between the hose fittings and the pump inlet/outlets just seem terribly designed, both from the perspective of the actual O-Rings and the sealing surfaces of the pump and fittings. There is barely any material on the inlet side for the O-ring to seal against. I found that consistently when tightening down the nut on the inlet fitting, it would basically squeeze the O-ring out of place rendering it completely useless. The outlet O-ring performed better but was still not ideal. After I was finally able to get the inlet to stop leaking with a lot of time, and silicone RTV, the main pump body seal was leaking!Taking apart the pump body I found that the O-ring for that seal seamed damaged and the sealing surface was scratched up as if the technician who built the pump was using a flathead screw driver to install the O-ring and gauged the sealing surfaces.I tried my best to seal the pump body and used more silicone. Eventually it seamed sealed enough but now the issue is the pump was sucking AIR while running now and was extremely loud because of all the bubbles it was pushing through the housing.

What to do when the Controller is damaged?
Excelent pump, quiet operation, very good suction. Now, the problem is what to do if for any reason, the controller is damaged? Mine is stuck on 30% of power and I cannot increase its output anymore. Everytime I increase it more than 30%, the pump shuts off and restarts again after a short while. Is the controller damaged? if it is, where can aI get a new one or how to fix it? Please advise...

Great company! Great pump!
The media could not be loaded. I have a 60 gallon corner tank that I’ve been running for a little over two years now with a smaller one of these pumps so I decided to upgrade and get a bigger one for my bigger tanks and I end up losing the fittings to go on the pump the way I need it to And I messaged them offering to buy it because it was my fault And they turned around and sent me a full set of brand new fittings for free. I don’t know what else I could do to help encourage you to buy from this company, but they are the ones to buy from. (The fish tank is set up to raise baby cichlids)

parts not good and spelling in manual worries me
i have not turned on the pump YET, but so far the cap doesn’t even work on the pump. i improvised that because did’t feel like dealing with it. the manual talks about watter. smh. there’s a couple more goofs like that. i will update as to whether the thing runs or not.

great adjustable pump
I really liked this pump. I wanted a slow speed for my UV light in my reef tank and this pump was adjustable and able to give me the GPM I was looking for.

Great Little Pump
I have been buying aquarium pumps for 50 to 55yrs and I have never been so satisfied with a pump as I am with this one. It works like they said it does and pumps the gph like advertised. It is a small pump and it is terrific. It runs so quiet that for the first few day I had to check it to make sure it was running.

excellent value
Excellent pump. Quiet and good control. Be aware that you will lose some flow rate with tubing, gravity, etc., so if you're looking for a full 800 GPH flow rate you might want to get a bigger model. Especially since you can turn down the flow rate. The pump's control panel is also very useful for fine tuning the system. Worth the extra cost.Only down side is that it allows for water backflow when paused or turned off, so make sure your sump/reservoir can handle the extra water backing in beforehand. Other higher end pumps will prevent this
