Great Keystone Tool especially for my first install
The keystone tool saved me tons of time. I had never done this before, I just watch a few online videos, and it worked out great! I was able to terminate 15 keystones in less than 2 hrs, and I got much faster toward the end. Tip for termination: Use a tiny flathead screwdriver to push the cable into place before clamping it.

Excellent product
Excellent product and does what it advertises well. The only gripe that I have is that the adjustment wheel is subject to movement when placed with other items in a tool bag but not a big deal. I would advise using a marker to mark once you have your ideal setting so that you can easily make the small adjustments if needed. Saved me lots of time over the last few months. I have only used the VCE jacks so I cannot comment on the tools compatibility with other brand jacks. May update once I try with some other brands. Highly recommended

Buy two, worth the money
Very useful tool. Saved us a tremendous amount of time and effort. Highly recommend for keystone work.

Yes, it works.
This tool and it's rj45's do pass a certified test. I have a fluke Linkiq and after termination with two jacks, it passes with no issues. I did use quality cable so I'm sure results will vary.

Takes some adjusting to get right, but solid tool.
I've never been a fan of 110 punch down tools. There's often never a good solid surface to press in to trigger the spring. Enter this keystone tool. It's jaws are meant for a particular style of Keystone jack, but the jacks aren't overly expensive. Out of the box, this tool doesn't do a great job of punching down. You will need to mess with the adjustment nuts to get it to properly punch down. Initially my tool was shaving plastic off the jack and not cutting the excess wire. After some adjustment it began cutting normally. The kit is fine. The carry case actually had room to fit my 8P8C crimping tool right next to this punchdown tool. There's also space for spare jacks. The cable stripper works, but is nothing to write home about, it's nice they included it.

WBox Jacks works with this tool
I was looking for a long time for a tool that would crimp and cut any Cat5/6 jacks. Leviton makes one and I have used it but you need different parts for different jacks and the jack itself is expensive. Legrand has a pretty inexpensive tool that is very fast at terminating jacks. This was our go to but supply was hard to find. So we bought WBox jacks which is a ADI house brand but they did not have a speed tool to terminate until now. This is the tool that works with those jacks and you just cant beat the pricing on the Jacks. The Cat6 jacks are standard size and fit into most wall plates, these jacks are longer and not wide like the ICC jacks. These fit nicely in the 24 or 48 port rack mount patch panel. If you terminate a lot of Cat6 jacks, this tool will speed up the process.

Just buy it
An excellent tool! I was able to punch down an entire patch panel in half the time.

get it if you are just starting or an installer. used on 500+ jacks, saves 30 seconds each time
the retracting spring broke after about 500 uses, most likely from the way its stored in my tool bag and number of times i dropped it, so it no longer reopens, i have replaced with the same tool. i have other installers that use it exclusively after trying mine, i purchased a 2nd spare one because it is so good and i can't stand punch down anymore. it works in tight spaces, used it inside a wall for a short wire. definitely a time saver too. you MUST use VCElink or everest media keystone jacks, as the pin spacing doesn't match other jacks i've compared

Worked really well, clean cuts and snapped into my patchpanels and wall plates just fine.

After 25 years of network installations, I wish I had known about this way sooner. Makes crimping the jacks a breeze and so much easier on the hands.

Excellent tool. It helped me punching the Cat 6 Cable on 24 RJ45 Keystones in less than 15 minutes. You just have to use the compatible keystones by VCE which are also great and reliable
