Mini Valve Dust Caps : Black

The caps arrived nicely packaged in a tidy little box. The fitting on the valves themselves was tight and it was a struggle to get two out of the four caps on. This was only a minor problem though and the caps look really nice on the car.I would recommend this product to other buyers. :-)

I would absolutely NOT recommend this product. Although they look nice, they are so small they don't really enhance the look of the car. More importantly, after just a couple of months they have fused to the tyre valves and are impossible to take off. Having now done a lot of research online, I discovered that many people have had the same problem with cheap metal valve caps. Having tried (unsuccessfully) the various suggestions for removing them, I had to get them removed by Kwikfit. This involved removing the tyres from the wheels, stripping out the whole tyre valve, and replacing with a new valve. With regular tyres, they charge a total of £11.50 per wheel. Unfortunately for me, I have run-flat tyres which have sensors attached to the valves. Replacing the valves means replacing the sensors too, which adds up to £90 per wheel! To give Kwikfit their due, they did try all measures to get the caps off first, before they had to replace everything. If you really want to dress up your Mini, you'd be better off bearing the cost of genuine Mini products. It's back to plastic dust caps for me!

These little gems are better that the genuine Mini dust caps. I've only had them fitted for a few weeks but they look great, will have to see how they fair over the course of the year, but at this price you can't go wrong.

These looks lovely bt after 3 months on the they have fused to valves. I now have had all 4 valves and sensors replaced costing me over £300. Avoid this product.

The caps look fantastic adding a little extra to my alloys. Excellent quality/value for money, finished off by fantastic, quick service.

So nice (as dust caps go) that my old ones just got stolen. Didn't hesitate to order again.

Having bought a set for my wife's new Mini Cooper, several months ago, we've since discovered these caps virtually weld themselves into place. Although only finger tight when placed, it proved impossible to remove these dust caps without unnecessary force and at the cost of replacing the tyre valves themselves. Pretty costly at the end of the day!!
