Bought as a present for my mum and it has a slight art deco look to it, which is perfect. It’s quiet and looks great whilst keeping accurate time.

Thought this was just what we were looking for, but when it arrived and put on our mantlepiece, you really could not see the time due to reflections and the narrow, black hands. In addition, the face was golden (not white as in the picture) and polished, with concentric circles making it difficult to see the time. Under bright lighting the time can be read easily, but in our table lamp-lit lounge, it was just a mass of shiny reflections. In addition, the pendulum swing is turbo-charged and is far too fast for us. Not something that can be fixed without altering the laws of physics. Reluctantly returned for a refund.

Very elegant and not too fancy . The ticking is a bit loud but it f you remove something off the back it silences the pendulum.

Beautiful mantle clock. Great size and very well made
