I have plugged the diffuser 2 weeks back. But no results being seen.

I have cats that will fight at certain times of the day, and the actual pheromone part works great. So five stars on that part. However, I feel like I've been trapped into buying the dispenser part that is defective over and over again because it leaks (negative rating if it would allow for such a thing). There is a seam in the plastic that widens over time (or in one case just a few days) and causes the container to leak. I have had 1 unit that lasted about a year until it broke, so that's the longest so far. I got two replacements that broke in a matter of days/weeks. Also, this is very particular about where the placement should go. I put it under an outlet that was near a table I had. The slightly warmer air caused the table to start growing mold underneath that required multiple cleanings to remove. I also made the mistake of putting it too close to a window sill in another location that ended up causing huge drips and liquid running down my wall into the live outlet. Be sure to place it in a location where there is nothing above it at all (not even part of an edge of a table or any sort of thing that will stick out from your wall). It also seems to run hotter on certain outlets, so the internal temperature doesn't seem to have any flow/regulation other than what it's getting so I suggest monitoring very closely. I'm considering some kind of additional silicon sealant on the unit at the seams to see if that helps, but I don't know if that will just make the leaking situation worse from another location in the dispenser.

We have two cats. We take care of our friends’ two cats when they are out of town. The three younger cats are all siblings and are usually fine after a day of posturing, but our friends’ older cat has difficulties. She normally yowls and scratches at everybody nearly the whole time she’s here. This time, we tried the diffuser. It really made a difference. She still stayed in the cat tree the whole time, but she did not attempt to remove my fingers when I held them out for her to sniff. One thing to be aware of: you must make sure the diffuser is in a completely upright, vertical position with the liquid container up. After first plugging ours in, I started to smell a sort of burning electrical smell. When I checked the diffuser, I realized that it was tilted a bit. After I straightened it up, the burning smell dissipated and it’s been fine ever since.

I have not written a review on Amazon yet and I purchase items weekly often more. I am in shock at the effectiveness of this collar! I have a male 5.5 year old cat who was neutered as a kitten and has been my baby. He has always been a high strung cat and needy, constantly meowing wanting held or treats but he would sleep with me, cuddle on the couch etc. Three years ago my daughter moved back home and brought her small dog with her and my neighbors moved in with two non-neutered males next door. My cat began marking/spraying. I tried all the Feliaway products in the rooms and the collar. Of course made sure the letterboxes were cleaned twice daily, that he had no medical conditions etc. In the last 3 years the problem had gotten completely out of hand to the point that whenever he was let inside the house he started searching for his spots to spray and within a minute he would mark his territory and if left to continue would endlessly do so. He also was now very high strung and didn't even want much attention and never came to sleep in our room. We finally decided to try the cat prozac which he had been given for about a week and half. However, my vet gave me a capsule that I had to open and sprinkler the powder on his food. He is so finicky that I wasn't getting much in him despite my efforts at buying anything and everything to sneak it into. At this point it hadn't done ANY good! I decided to give this collar a try and THAT NIGHT my cat completely relaxed, he came and cuddled and laid by us on the couch, something he hadn't done in probably 6 months. As always now I watched his every move inside the house and it has been a week and half and he has not sprayed ONCE!!!! He eats all his food with the prozac in it too! He plays with the other cats. He is back to his old self again. I am so grateful for this product. I was going to have to keep my cat completely outside and that was not going to be easy. I will update my review once it has been 2 months
