This works much better than the CARLOCK TAG Accessory. This one has better connectivity and activates the Carlock device from just a few feet away. It is way more reliable so far. I will update this review once I have had it for a while to comment on the battery life, reliability, and durability. The original CARLOCK TAG Accessory went through batteries super fast and was not as reliable, even with fresh batteries. I would like to see them release another version that utilizes RFID technology and resembles a credit card that can be easily stored in your wallet. The older version of the tag would often break off my key ring. We will see if this one holds up any better.

The tag works very well. I have been completely impressed with the whole CarLock system. When it’s triggered I get a critical message on my phone that is pleasantly obnoxious. I know the system works. With the tag it cuts down on those critical alerts when you’re near the vehicle. Just want to mention if you add vibration sensors they are extremely sensitive.

Every trip from and to your vehicle rest assured as long as you’re in range, the tag will activate/deactivate. It’s easy to store on your key chain along with keyfob. Pairing to your phone was easy enough. 3 month UPDATE!!! Somehow the plastic broke from the corner where the keychain would go. The inside chip was exposed and now it’s not working properly anymore!

One problem if you are delivering food people rideshare this might not be the tag for you. Otherwise it’s great. Reason why, if you stay in your car, listen to the music wait for your driver. Wait for them to load your shipment. Your tag is going off it’s activating and deactivating and you have to shake your keys once in a while just to let your tag know that I’m still here other than that again it’s great.

Everything works great on this carlock system. I also have the vibration sensor and key sensor. All 3 product are amazing and work great. The vibration sensor and key sensor are a must. With the key sensor you can just walk up to your car and it turns off the alarm and walk away and it turns it on. The vibration sensor is very sensitive and ads extra security because even if there's a minor vibration it will let you know. You can get multiple vibrations sensors, this set up is amazing.

Tag2.0 doesn’t work as intended. The tag is supposed for to arm your Carlock system when you walk away and disarm when you are near vehicle. See attached pictures of just a few examples, the unit will usually disarm too slowly and when it does disarm it will arm back up after I have started driving, causing annoying alerts. The auto arm is supposed to arm as soon as you are out of range with tag, yet it is usually 5 minutes after you have left vehicle before it arms. I tried two tags with two different units. Tech support was not helpful and very slow to respond. They told me to purchase another unit and they would give me credit towards membership rather than refund. The second unit and tag behaved exactly the same. If you are buying this expecting it to work as advertised, I would suggest to expect much less or save your money. You will still have to use the app if you want to avoid these issues.

At first, I was disappointed because I thought it was supposed to re-activate instantly. But It does after about 2 mins. It has worked each time to de-activate my system when going to my car, and I love getting the notification on my smartwatch or hearing the audible que that it did it's job. Very happy with Carlock, the vibration sensors, and key tag! I recommend you give it a try. But also use physical locks too for steering wheel, brake, etc.

This tag has been so annoying. The only good thing compared to the old one is the hole to attach to a Keychain. Other than that I wish I had kept my old one that fit into my Aldi quarter holder even though it was chunkier I wasn't getting all these false alerts when I was standing right beside my vehicle. Having to keep turning on power saving to stop those alerts (that drains battery again) so not an upgrade in my opinion.
