Quality Product
Quality transformers! I recommend switching out the typical thin wired transformers that come with your indoor/outdoor antenna with this one. The copper is the same gauge as RG 6 coax, better in corrosive conditions. I wish I can say that I've been able to compare and contrast with these transformers in an exact antenna location, i.e. swapping out old with this new item, but I haven't. What I can say is that with a "clear" direct line of site, approximately 40-50 miles from the Antenna Stations, I get 70 channels, which is damn near max of available over the air channels in our area.

Seems to be as advertised.
The wire is heavy gauge, and the covers may need some electrical tape on them for some extra water proofing. Conclusion: Will buy again.

Works great.
Installed it on a larger older outdoor tv antenna which turned out great and creates a great picture quality. Solid copper wires for connection and outdoor protective cap. installed this for an elderly friend of mine. He is so happy with the picture quality from switching from an old 2 line atenna wire to digital tv signal with coaxial cable.

1 of 3 just fell apart. Others full of water...
Very poor quality. 1 of 3 just fell apart. On close examination saw shoddy design and sub-par assembly. Boot does not cover compression cable ends. Interior not even soldered correctly. Unable to tighten correctly as will just spin inside the case. Do not even understand how this advertised as weather proof. Look elsewhere for your outdoor balun needs. Edit: the signal quality has been steadily dropping. The two that did not fall apart full of water after just a couple light drizzles. Would give negative stars. Complete waste of time and money. Going to use regular balun next and paint with liquid electric tape to seal. See no available options on Amazon that appear to be better quality. So disappointed.

Barrel not firmly fixed to housing
The wires are a reasonable guage and solid copper. However, when you tighten the coax F connector to the threaded barrel, the barrel starts turning in the plastic housing. You do want a mechanically solid connection when using this for an outdoor antenna in the North Country. I needed one of these three. The first one was surely wrecked because I didn't realize the barrel was rotating and only noticed it was never getting tighter. The housing split open at one point. So, I was very gentle with the second one and it seems to be fine. Will see how weather stable it is, but just to be sure, I covered it with silicone sealant.

home made Grey Houverman Ant.
Bought these Baluns to build my own tv antenna. They are very good quality the wire leads are not flimsy like most they are solid 18 gauge I believe. water proof and works as it should ,solder or wrap and screw down.

Great Deal
Low price and they have held up very well outside. I think I ordered these near the beginning of 2019. Going into 2020 soon and they are still holding up outside.
