Great for tile if you work slow and keep them cool!
Some tile is HARD to drill through. I needed to install shower safety bars and neither my regular drill bits nor my carbide masonry bits could make a hole. I decided to try this set and I'm glad I did! I used the smallest bit first to drill the (12) pilot holes. I drilled at a very low speed, dipping the tip of the drill bit in a glass of water every 30 seconds to cool it off. It was a slow process. I was concerned that the bit would wear out and tried a couple of times to switch to a carbide masonry bit to finish the holes, but those just wouldn't penetrate the tile. My concern was unfounded. The smallest bit from this set made it through all 12 holes, slow and steady. Then I enlarged the holes with each next size up until they were big enough. That went much more quickly. It seems that the initial holes are very tough, but enlarging holes is easier. Even my carbide masonry bits worked for that. These bits are a great value, and work wonderfully if you take your time and make sure they don't overheat (by dipping in water). High end diamond bits would have probably saved time, but cost at least 10x as much.

Very impressive performers.
Finally had an opportunity to use these. Drilling into concrete block, 12 holes later and the bit was still doing a great job. A significant upgrade over the cheapo bit that cam with the mounting screws inserts. I am truly impressed. Great quality!

Phenomenal, especially for the price.
I only bought these to mount a tv over my fireplace. Honestly my hopes weren’t too high but they did great, it took me about an hour of drilling, overhead and off balance, I might have applied too much pressure but a little water to cool the bits and it ate right though the brick. They’re a bit chewed up after use but for the price they did an amazing job.

They Did The Job
These bits worked well going through very hard travertine tile to mount some shower safety bars. With a regular drill instead of a hammer drill you need to go slow in 4 to 8 second bursts and dip the bit in water each time. Takes a little while but does a clean job without cracking.

OUTSTANDING
A pleasant surprise. These drills effortlessly cut through ceramic tile, leaving a perfect hole. No chipping or flaking.

Terrible quality, cheaply made “painted on coating”.
Let’s start by saying, don’t waste your money/time on these drill bits. Bought these because first off, they were “cheap”. Well, you get what you pay for. Hardware store was closed at night and needed a 5/32” masonry bit for drilling a few holes in concrete block for 3/16” tap cons. Bought these to have overnight delivered early AM to finish the job. Drill bits said they had other plans. Went through 3 bits in 2 holes, ran to hardware store when they opened at 8 AM and bought a Bosch bit and finished the job without issue. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for.

Good Quality. Gets the job done.
Bought these to drill wholes in my ceramic planting pots for proper drainage. Worked like a charm. They seem good quality and I know they'll come in handy for other things.

An amazing tool to add your toolbox
So I buy a lot of pods to use for gardening and they need drain holes in them and this is like going through butter. This is a game changer. I also take mugs. I find at yard sales and thrift shops and drills holes in the side and hang them for my trees it’s just a whimsical thing game changer.
