Acrylic Round Cookie Jar (6 1/2" Dia x 8 1/2")

This cookie jar is worth every penny and better than expected. I was worried about it keeping the cookies fresh because it does not have that elastic seal, but it does the job perfectly. No complaints from me. Good size also

My wife was looking for a set of jars for a "cookie party" but didn't want glass in case one got knocked off a table. These were the right size and price, so we picked up 3 for her party. They appear to be good quality. Just FYI, the upper rim is part of the jar and the lid sits down in that. At first glance, I thought the rim was part of the lid that set down over the jar.UPDATE: It seems one of the jars got slightly deformed from the heat in the dishwasher so now the lid will not sit flush. I recommend hand washing these.

Does not keep cookies fresh. Air seeps through it. Use if now to keep oatmeal packets. It works fine for that.

Even though this cookie jar does not have a seal around the edge, the cookies stay fresh. I like the way it looks on my table. I also like the fact that it is clear so I can see when it is time to replenish the stock. It is a good size and has ample room for several dozen cookies.

The only reason I didn't give this product a higher rating is because it's called a cookie jar, but it clearly would do nothing to keep cookies fresh. The lid does not fit tightly and doesn't have a seal. It's a basic acrylic jar of decent quality for the price.

This item was a Christmas gift to my daughter and family and holds a lot of cookies! Arrived well ahead of time and in excellent condition! Made of thick acrylic it withstands small hands and many falls! Will order from this company again!!!

I used vase filler with this to store my daily makeup. Very happy... As lid is very loose n matches other acrylic stuff in my bathroom.

I bought this because I needed a largish jar for my sourdough pancake starter, one with a lid that was not airtight to prevent minor explosions (thanks people who said there was no airtight seal!) and had straight sides that would be easy to squeegee clean, as well as non-breakable (I would cry if a starter that I had tended for ages got glass shards in it). This mostly fits, except that I needed sides that were straight up the entire way. I suppose I should have asked someone who bought this, but it looked from the pictures as if only the lid had the shaping and it went straight on top of the jar's sides. The top of the jar does have some shaping, however it is gently sloped and dried starter can be removed from it easily enough, I just wish the sides were completely straight. It is, however, just about perfect for me to start batter for two people's breakfast with room for the starter to rise 3x, which is what I was looking for.
