Pearl Milling Company Protein Pancake Mix - Buttermilk

The taste is really good, but the macros aren’t the best. I would mostly buy this as a cheat meal for breakfast. At 210 calories for 2 small pancakes, I don’t think it’s the best option if you’re dieting or in a calorie deficit. It’s really easy to make just add water, pour it into the pan, and you’ll have two 5 inch pancakes. They do come out pretty thin, though.

Love this protein version! I aim to get protein wherever I can as I eat mainly fruit and vegetables. I like making the waffle version and have never actually just made pancakes with the mix. I use my waffle maker and it’s so easy. With the protein it definitely makes the nutritional value. Of course we’d always like to pay less for things but I’d say this is a good value. Quality is outstanding.

They taste like normal pancakes. I know this doesn't sound like anything special. But, if you've tried a lot of foods where protein has been added, you know a lot of them have a weird taste, and the textures seem to rarely be pleasant.

The taste can seem a little protein-like with the higher protein content. Still an enjoyable pancake mix.

Hear me out, I’ve tried quite a few pancake mixes that have protein in them and they’ve all been unappetizing. This is the first Brant that has done it right. I understand taste is subjective but just try it. Taste like regular good ol’ buttermilk pancakes but like three times better + getting some extra protein!
