Excellent Purchase
I absolutely love this HP computer. I even love the red color. I have always bought HP. I was leary of the reconditioned product but for the low cost & the fact I don't use a home computer that often so I gave it a try. It has far exceeded what I had hoped for. Warranty is up so I hope it continues working as it should. Definitely worth the purchase. If you're in doubt, don't be. It looked brand new when it arrived without any flaws.

Refurbished is just as good if not better than new
I had my doubt's as I have with many refurbished items that I have purchased, but I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase which was a much needed upgrade from the HP laptop that I have owned and used for the past decade

Keys are not backlit
The Laptop is very good, considering that it was inexpensive through Amazon. The one thing that I didn't know until after I started using it is the backlit keyboard. As minimal as this may seem, if you are still a poor typer after 30+ years, it can be difficult when you can see the keys in even a semi-dark environment. Other than that, a solid Laptop.

2 laptops, both faulty
Ordered the first laptop in November, and lasted about 2 weeks before the hard drive crashed. Amazon sent a replacement, and the same thing happened. Additionally, two of the keys did not work on the replacement. Interestingly, both units looked brand new on the outside, and I suspect that there is something nefarious going on with these "refurbished" laptops. Please do not buy one!

HP has upped their game
Nice setup with minimal bloatware. Fast with ease of setup. Don't like the fact that Microsoft makes you setup windows with an online MS ID, but that's not HP's fault. I delete the MS ID after I add a local ID. Great PC for sure.

Works great and comes with a year of office.

Trackpad sticks
Computer is fast enough for my needs and I've been able to access everything I need. Set up was very easy. My only complaint is that the trackpad sticks and I can't use this PC without connecting a mouse which is super frustrating.
