The ultimate crash course, reference and refresher
I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and never studied business or marketing. In my early years, I had to read many books and articles to teach myself all the key concepts and buzzwords so that I could hold my own in boardrooms and networking events. If only I had Silbiger’s book back then! When I picked it up, I quickly updated and perfected my business knowledge — and it now sits in my library as a handy reference and refresher. It’s concise, easy to read and will teach you everything an Ivy-League MBA would know. I also learned the author graduated from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, which actually beat Harvard this year in one of those ‘best business schools’ rankings), and that he consults with recent graduates from the school and other top 10 schools to keep the book updated. This latest edition has chapters on crypto, AI and other hot new business topics that I found incredibly informative. Get it now!

“Ten” days is overly optimistic…more like 30…or more.
A better title would have Thirty Day MBA… it will take the average person without a business degree or above-average familiarity with business language to learn the information contained in this book. It is still a very useful study or refresher tool and I would recommend it with the caveat of lowering the expectation of being able to grasp the information and put it to use in 10 days (as the title seems to suggest).

Love this book
This book was awesome! The title was slightly intimidating, but once I got to reading, everything was broken down into such attainable knowledge! I like how the writer guides you through each topic, and every end of chapter there’s a layout of the summary and key points. Helps you really commit the information to memory. The style of writing is clean, concise and easy to absorb. Highly recommend to anyone!I learned a lot!

Great book, comprehensive and easy to read, love the update!
I especially liked the marketing, accounting and finance chapters. Complex topics are handled with real understandable examples. It is not an academic book or fluff, it’s real info to use that is the MBA. I loved the new MBA movie guide in the back!

Fantastic new edition
This book is as helpful and easy to read as the earlier editions, and includes several new sections on current business topics, such as cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. A welcome addition to our home library.

A Graduate Education in One Book
I learned SO MUCH from this book! I got my MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University in 1987 and lived close enough to audit classes over the years until they became so complex that I, sadly, felt it was better for my own sanity to stop. Author Steven Silbiger gave me a great review of things I remembered and a whole lot more to update me on what is being taught today. Even if you got your college degree in another discipline, this Ten-Day MBA will give you so much information that will round out your education. I'm keeping it for reference, and I know I will go back to it again and again for details about finance, accounting, organizational behavior, marketing, and all the rest. If you're a professional in any field, buy this book. You won't regret it.

Considering an MBA? Read this first.
Steven Silbiger, who holds an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia, communicates the basics of key business concepts such as marketing, accounting and organizational behavior. His new edition includes updates around AI and cryptocurrency. Some may read this book to decide if pursuing an MBA makes sense. Others know they’ll never go back to school, but still want the information that can help them in the business world.
