MET-Rx Original Meal Replacement Variety Sampler Pack, Includes Extreme Chocolate, Original Vanilla, (20)

MET-Rx has been around for awhile and has many loyal customers. As my schedule can be odd at times, these meal drinks come in quite handy. They don't have that sometimes off putting taste found in similar products which is a plus. As far as tastes go...everyone is a bit different and some find the tastes of these chocolate and vanilla drinks to be just okay and others love them. I happen to like both but don't find them "great" tasting.Ease of mixing -Shaker container - put 1 inch of water in container, add powder, gently put on top of powder standard ice cubes, slowly add water to complete volume. Close and shake. This method tends to work well to make sure more powder is blended and no or little stick to the container.Hand blender - similar to above in having small amount of water, then add powder then on top of powder use crushed* ice along with more water to complete. The crushed ice on top holds the powder down a bit so that the hand blender can be put in slowly and start blending without mess and reduces powder sticking to the sides if done properly.Being a sample pack, the order was pretty much a bag with 10 of each packets dropped in. This is sparse but certainly acceptable as no slick packaging is needed. As far as ingredient profile is concerned, MET-Rx is one of the better ones though a few might rate better. For price, availability, ingredient profile, taste and ease of mixing, this gets 4 of 5 stars or perhaps 4 and 1/2 stars to be more accurate.

These are a good meal replacement. Make sure you mix well or it will be gritty. I like this pack bc you get vanilla and chocolate. one favor gets boring after while so this is a good choice

Loved the chocolate flavor but the vanilla was not so good, good value for money

Decent tasting meal replacement.. It's the only one I've tried that actually replaces a light meal as far as satisfying hunger... On workout days, I usually don't eat breakfast, drink a MET-RX shake for lunch and then eat a normal dinner and feel good. Only bad thing i can think of is if you're using a shaker bottle, you need at least 20 ounces of fluid and still get some clumps that don't dissolve but it's not horrible. Blenders take care of that problem in under 10seconds

They taste like and have the consistency of unset pudding

Great taste, pretty much just like I remember it. I like the vanilla better than the chocolate, but they're both pretty darn good! Great to mix in some fresh fruit, too; bananas, dates, berries, mango, a little peanut butter in the chocolate, etc.
