Q: Why with inside dimensions of 5x7.25x11.5 should hold over 20 boxes of 50. Why do others say 13 boxes

It will hold 8-10 boxes (50 rounds) of 9mm or .38 and nothing more. Anyone saying it will hold more than that is lying to you. I just received the box and it's really small, like I expected. Just thought it would hold a couple more boxes of my ammo than it does.

Q: Is it TSA acceptable?

I do not know. I has one hinge and one clasp. The clasped end is lockable, but I am not sure about the security of the other end.

Q: Is this can airtight?

No. It's water-resistant and dust-resistant , but not airtight.
