I am a sound therapy practitioner and was looking for a shaker to use at the end of my gong bath sessions. I needed something that was easily transportable, durable, not too expensive and which made a good quality sound. I have bought a range of Meinl products over the years to use in my sound therapy clinics and all have been excellent quality and manufacture to the highest standard irrespective of price. (You can probably tell that I'm a big fan of Meinl gear!).I tried these little shakers and they fulfilled all my requirements and demands. They are superb values for money. Such a simple design, they are easy to hold fitting nicely into one or two hands. The volume and rhythm is easy to control by the way you shake them - so simple yet effective! I now take these little shakers with me on all my sessions.Another prefect product from Meinl!

Lovely sound. Replacing some I bought in Morocco and they're great.

I'm not happy with the sound of these eggs. It lacks depth and resonance. I did not return the item as its cheap enough and gave it to the kids just to play with. I bought a much better shaker a few days later. I would not recommend these shaker if you are looking for something to use in a band setup. Look for something else.

Took a gamble with these and so glad i did, considering they are small ( as in you can fit the both in one hand ) the sound is fantastic and a bargain of a price for what you get and delivered on time and well packaged.

Meinl products that I have purchased in the past have always had superb sound and been of great quality and these are no exception. They are simple shakers but have a lovely sound that suits my love of percussion and fits with my exacting standards for instruments I buy, Wether it be for simple sounds or complex drumming equipment.
