Simple, inexpensive, and it works!
I got this "for a song" on an Amazon sale (<$15!). It's a great little device, simple to set up, and easy to use. I LIKE that it has few bells & whistles (e.g., no free recording, no ability to remotely re-orient it), but you can remotely turn on/off a light, it has sound, and good clarity. Other features (e.g., motion activation) I haven't looked at. A very nice, simple device!

Love it
I’m really happy with this Blink doorbell! It’s a great addition to my home and gives me extra peace of mind knowing I can keep an eye on what’s happening around my front door. The setup was fairly simple, and once everything was connected, it was easy to use and check whenever I needed to. The video quality is good and provides a clear view of the area around the door. I really like being able to see who is there without having to immediately open the door. It’s especially convenient for keeping track of deliveries, visitors, and unexpected activity. Another feature I really appreciate is the convenience of being able to check the doorbell from my phone. It makes it easy to stay aware of what’s happening even when I’m not right near the door. The overall design is sleek and doesn’t look bulky once installed. For the price, I think this is a great home-security and convenience upgrade. It’s easy to use, gives me a good view of my entryway, and provides some extra reassurance when it comes to knowing who is at the door. Overall, I’m very pleased with the Blink doorbell. It’s convenient, useful, and gives me the added peace of mind I was looking for. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an easy-to-use video doorbell for their home.

Very good image quality and fast loading
I don't know what's different about the Mini 2, BUT I have two Outdoor 4 cameras as well as one Video Doorbell and those other camera models take several seconds to load (10 seconds or more) when you want to do an on-demand live view, but the Mini 2 loads very quickly (usually within 2 seconds and it's showing the live view, which is great). The issue is, if you don't have a subscription that will save live view videos, if the camera is taking 15 seconds to load before you see anything, that makes it not so useful because a person hanging around your door may already be out of view, so you don't get a good idea of what's going on (why your camera was triggered). If you have a subscription, it WILL record the live view as well as motion triggered videos, so that's not an issue...but it's an issue if you don't have a subscription. Anyway, my point is that unless something changes with a future firmware update to improve the live view loading time for the Outdoor 4 & Doorbell cameras, as of today, the Mini 2 beats the pants off those other models (it's faster). The exposure (lighting) of the video with the Mini 2 is surprisingly good in low light even with the tiny LED light. I'm referring to the LED light, not the infrared light which gives you a black and white video, so I've decided to use the LED light so I can get color recordings instead of black and white. I have one of my Mini 2 cameras inside the house to watch a certain room (room is 15'x15') and with all the interior lights off in the house and only the LED from the Mini 2 activated for video, I can see the whole room clearly in color, the image quality is good and the exposure looks good. I.E., if (God forbid) I ever did have an intruder in the house, I would have a very good description to give the police. The only downside to using the LED light is this will obviously get an intruder's attention and they may try to quickly grab the camera and unplug it before the video gets to the servers (but hopefully the live stream is saved in real time so you'd at least get any video saved that was streamed - I'll ask Blink about that to see how it works, if you have a subscription). The Mini 2 is weather resistant, so because I'm so pleased with the overall performance of the Mini 2 vs the other cameras I mentioned above, I ordered a second Mini 2 to use outside in my most high traffic area. I will be replacing the video doorbell with the Mini 2 and move the video doorbell to the door with the LEAST traffic. That'll be a benefit in two ways. First, it will mean my video doorbell's battery life will last longer since it'll be in a low traffic area. Second, I'll get better video quality and faster reaction times in my high traffic area. I ordered the weather sealed USB cable for the second Mini 2 I ordered and I have an easy way to power it outdoors, so the fact that it's not powered by batteries is not an issue for me. I power my two Outdoor 4 cameras via a weatherproof USB power cord as well, so no batteries are needed. I'll have 5 cameras total now (two Outdoor 4, two Mini 2 and one doorbell) and only one of them will need batteries (the video doorbell, in the low traffic area). That's a big money saver since I don't need batteries for the other 4 cameras. Regarding the doorbell, my biggest issue with the Video Doorbell is that even though you can use your existing doorbell power wire to trigger your old doorbell, you CANNOT use it to power the video doorbell camera :-( Blink really needs to update that camera (make a new model) so it can be powered solely by the old doorbell wiring (like my old Skybell camera can, but I'm retiring my Skybell camera).

Good quality but not a great baby monitor due to timing out
Not a baby monitor. If you want to watch for a continuous amount of time, you’ll need a subscription and even then it’s only 90 min option (without having to interact with it, I think you just tap to start it again because it times out. Without a subscription you can watch for 60 second intervals having to tap to keep it on for up to 5 mins. Which is fine since my phone is the screen I’m watching from, since I’m not going to constantly stream from my phone. But it’d be nice if I could for watching my daughter if I needed to. Kind of frustrating for that. Great camera quality tho. Easy to set up, clear picture, even in night vision. I used mine to keep an eye on some new kittens. Worked perfect for that. Didn’t need the “outdoor” cord for my purposes. I just kept it out if the weather. And this model does not show temperature.

Quality
I purchased this camera to be able to keep an eye on my dogs while at work. I love that the app is easy to download and the camera set up is user friendly. I am able to talk to them through the camera as well as use the light option the camera offers to light up the room if the camera happens to be in a darker space. It is a great camera if you are looking for something inexpensive that gives the same quality as the other more expensive options on the market.

Best cameras!
Absolutely best upgrade from the 1st ones! I love the bigger picture coverage and the ability to have it turn on a light during the motion sensor especially at night. Easy to set up and mount. The notifications are a bit delayed but the quality is worth it. It’s even compatible with the app and the 1st original cameras so I don’t have to change anything just add to the profile!

Peace of mind
This lil counter top camera is great for keeping a watchful eye on the apartment door while I'm out. Monitoring pets or entry I have peace of mind. Easy set up, affordable monthly plan. Just what I needed. I recommend this product.

Great Home Security and low cost monitoring!
I buy these every time they upgrade them. My old ones work great also. I have one on all entrances and inside also to watch my dog during the times I am at work. To monitor monthly its only $10 and it will tell you the description of what is happening while it records. Live view is very clear even at night. It was so easy to set up and mount. The camera has full swivel capabilities also making it easy to adjust. The old ones and new versions are compatible so no worries about getting rid of the older models. Hands down I like Blink over the other companies!!!
