Good Quality Lock With Great Dials.
This comes in a plain box with the lock inside plus the instructions and a small screwdriver. The bike lock itself is of high quality and has a few things that I really like. The line where you enter the combination is a wide bright orange line, this make it very easy to see, especially at night, this means you are not fumbling around trying to see a small line. The combination wheels are very easy to turn and they have a positive click every half number, this means you do not have to jiggle around the wheels to make sure you have got the numbers spot on. The wheels themselves are also large enough that you do not interfere with other wheels whilst entering the combination and this is 5 wheel rather than 4 which means there are more possible combinations. The combination is easy to change, the method is in the instructions and can also be seen on the product page. This is where you use the included screwdriver, although not the highest quality it will save you hunting around for one or buying one.The chain is covered in a nylon sheath which means it will not damage the paintwork on your bike when securing it. The chain is 7mm which is good, but as with any chain or cable lock someone who is determined to get it off with bolt cutters or a angle grinder probably will, but that will take time and look suspicious.Overall I am very pleased with the quality and precision construction of this lock and for the price (£13.99 at time of review and there is also a 15% voucher which makes it £11.90) I think is good value for money, I really do like the combination wheels. 5 stars all the way.I hope you found this review helpful.

Good for slight deterrent
I wouldnt describe this lock as "heavy duty" but it is a handy deterrent if away from your bike for a few minutes - i.e. popping to the shops. A bike thief with some decent bolt croppers I feel would get through this relatively easy.Having said that it is well designed and relatively light weight. To change the combination wasnt too much effort. All in all a handy piece of kit.

Excellent lock at a good price.
My current bike lock consists of a length of heavy duty chain and a combination padlock. To stop the metal chain damaging my paintwork I squeezed it into an old tyre inner tube. It works perfectly well but isn't the bonniest thing you will ever see. This padlock give my bike security a bit of respectability. In many respects this lock is quite like the one I descibed above. There is a fairly hefty chain contained within a sort of webbing tube. It looks so much nicer than an old inner tube. The padlock mechanism has a 5 digit lock and is easily changed from its default of "00000".Fully extended it measures roughly 1m in length which is more than enough to secure your bike to a rack or other objects like a lamp post or railings. It feels well made and certainly looks like it would stop all but the most determined and well equipped thief from making off with your bike. It's quite heavy coming in at 650g (just under one and a half pounds). It's not long enough to be worn over the shoulder, as a way of carrying it so it will have to be fixed to the bike or carried in a bag. Either way it's an extra 650g added to the weight you are propelling along the road. But what price security and piece of mind?Overall I am impressed by this lock. It is well priced at only £13.99 and I am happy to recommend it.

Good quality
The quality is bery good and it has some weight to it as well which is good. Easy to adjust the passcode and it works very well as well. If you dont have memory issues like me it is very easy to remember the code. The chain feels very secure and robust. Good product overall!

Good value and quality for low risk security areas..
HiiPeak Bike Lock, 5-Digit Resettable Combination Bicycle Chain Lock. This uses 7mm heavy duty steel and has a 5 digit combination. This is a decent bike chain for use in low risk areas, my young grandson will be using it at his very low risk junior school, it is more to just deter other children from jumping on and riding his bike.Overall, perfect for low risk areas just to deter opportunistic thieves but won't stop a determined bike thief.

Top notch bike lock
A top notch bike lock, definitely deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars from me. Setting your own combination is a breeze, and not having to carry around keys is a game changer. The heavy duty steel chain feels super sturdy, and the waterproof cover keeps it in great condition no matter the weather. It's long enough to secure my bike to just about anything, and it's versatile enough to use for other stuff too. Overall, it's a simple but reliable lock that gives me peace of mind whenever I'm out and about. Highly recommend it! No bikes have been stolen using this lock! 😃

good combination bike chain lock
This bike chain lock is nicely made and does a good job for locking up my bike.In the box you have the chain lock and a little screwdriver which along with the instructions you use to set the 5 digit lock number to one of your choice. The chain is covered with a fabric protective sleeve and inside is thick chain which has plenty of flex to move around your frame and wheels which along with the protective sleeve protects it from any scratches. The lock feels solid and has a 5 digit combination which click as you rotate the dial round to select your secret unlocking number. You can clearly see the numbers even if it’s fairly dark out and the chain feels very solid so should prevent most thefts. It just about goes round my frame and through the front wheel but check the measurements of it first as it only just reaches round mine so it might be long enough for everyone's needs.Overall, it’s a good chain lock and at £13.99 I think its good value for money.

Super strong
This appears to be quite substantial and SHOULD keep my bike as safe as possible. The setting of the combination in my own code was very easy. Delivery was excellent but was expected with Amazon Prime.

Very impressive super easy to use lock
This chain combination lock has some great innovative features that make it super easy to use and a joy. It also I believe is reasonably free of the most easily exploited weaknesses commonly found in locks in this price range. While clearly it is not intended to be super high security, not made for withstanding heavy tool attacks, it seems to be secure enough to deter the opportunistic thief. While the chain underneath the tough cordura sheath is not very heavy (7mm), the sheath and chain would both need to be cut requiring different tools for metal and fabric, and I doubt a thief would go to that much trouble. It is better than bare chain which can be clipped in seconds by a bolt cutter. The plastic-covered combination portion possibly could be defeated by smashing, it's hard to say, but I think that would also involve considerable effort. For the innovative features, first, exactly where the combination needs to line up is extremely clear due to the distinctive orange plastic, so even if it's raining, with the orange and the high contrast white numbers on black background the combination is easily seen. Second, while many combination locks take some strength to rotate the wheels, not this one; it is super easy to turn the wheels, yet the wheels have detents to stop exactly on each number. No "almost" in place as each wheel stops exactly on the number. This makes the lock very easy to use as each wheel does not need to be finessed. The general appearance and precision aligned parts complete the picture of a quality lock that is effective, attractive and super easy to use. There is no exposed metal that could scratch the finish on your bike, and the relatively light weight and compactness add to the functionality.Really a great lock for the right application. I am comfortable with this for locking up a $200 item though probably not a $2000 Vespa which to me should be secured by a heavy chain and heavy padlock.

Hefty Chain Lock With Longer Combo and Sheath!
Growing up in a big city, I have used chains all my life on my bicycles and motorcycles. I have also used curly steel cables as well. They both do the job, but I have my preferences. The chain is definitely my choice if I am leaving it on the bike and need a quick connection. The cable is good if I am packing it in a bag since it pulls back into a curly configuration and stays in one shape. However, overall practicality goes to a chain like this that is sheathed in breathable fabric (plastic is okay but it can cause rust as it traps moisture). This chain is a nice find since it has a good length for most bike locking applications and it has a fabric covering. I like that this prevents scratches on my bike and prevents the metallic clanging as the chain moves around. The big plus with this chain is that you can wrap it around things and not have to deal with the uncooperative curly cable that can get intertwined on itself making it look like a messed up slinky. The chain loops where you want it to loop. This chain also has a 5 number combo which would make it more secure. Determined thieves will work your lock and chain no matter what, but to the unmotivated and opportunistic thief, this 5 combo lock will be more challenging. The ease of the lock being at the end of the chain and the simplicity of just inserting the locking end, is wonderful. No loose lock to lose or fall off the chain! Note that it is largely plastic on the outside with metal innards. This makes it lighter and the operation of the rotating numbers more reliable. If you are smashing that end though, it may not be as good as a metal one. Another big bonus are the large easy to read numbers. These work great in low lighting and are more easily visible than other locks I have used.Overall this is a good usable locking chain. I don't know how the actual metal chain will last as far as rust, but the lock is well thought out and easy to read and use.

Can you believe the price of this lock? Pinch yourself and then press "Buy Now".
If you are even reading the reviews on this lock, then your interested enough to realize what a great deal this is. A Lock, with a chain that is covered in a durable covering to protect your stuff, at this price point, it must be too good to be true, right? Well believe it! And I can tell you that it is totally worth it. The combo mechanism is sturdy, you can feel it. It feels like it is unpickable like this type of lock was prone to be when I was a kid. But this lock is way better quality than those were back then. The build on it is serious locking and protection build, they want your stuff to be safe, they want you to trust their locks. This lock will speak for itself when it's in your hands, it will keep the honest people honest and the dishonest people busy, for awhile. If they're dumb enough though you'll catch them at it first, thinking they can break this lock code. It seems tough enough that it should resist being cut, I'm no expert on bolt cutters, but if your bike is out in plain view of people, well wish the guy luck who runs up with a pair of bolt cutters anyway. Be logical and be safe, but you'll probably feel better with this lock protecting your stuff. I hope my recommendation helps you lock in on a great deal on this lock, and may your stuff always be safe.

Keep you bike safe and secure
What a great bike lock. You can set your own 5 digit passcode to something you can remember. I like that I don't have to keep up with keys to unlock this lock. It feels heavy but not uncomfortably so. The numbers are big and easy to read. I also like the cloth sleeve so you don't have to worry about it scratching metal. I use mine on my bike but I'm sure it can lock up anything it can fit around. The lock is about 35" long. The little screwdriver it comes with is to use when setting your own passcode.

Lock Me UP - my bike pleas.
I like the HiiPeak Bike Lock, because it seems like it has a heavy duty chain, yet that's wrapped in a soft, slippery cloth - so it won't scratch my bike paint as it vibrates, and come time to remove, it slides off easy - not like unspooling my other lock! I also like that you can set the lock to any combo you want. Default is all zeros, but I changed mine temporarily to 1-5 (to try it out, and consider if my brain can remember something more challenging.) Changing the combo numbers was an easy process, so if I lose the instruction sheet - where did I put that? - it's simple. They even give you the screwdriver to do so. - Note, you do have to exert a lot of pressure on the tiny screw, to avoid slipping and stripping it out. (If I did that, I'd probably try a screw from one of those eyeglass repair kits). AND, I believe you have to COMPLETELY REMOVE the screw - in order to turn the "Code Disc" to a new combo. I could be wrong about that, as the instructions - #2 specifically, was written poorly. But I removed the screw, turned the Code Disc to the 3 O'clock position (aka 90 degrees), to change the combo, turned it back, put the screw back, and checked it and it worked.
