I own a 2024 Samsung Smart TV (50-inch DU6900). It came with the mini (no numerical keypad) remote control. While it works OK, inputting channels (I get 44 OTA channels and the 450+ on Samsung TV+) was a royal pain. The Samsung TV+ channels are 4 digits which you have to scroll back & forth to get to and then select "done" to go to that channel. Not sure if it was a problem with my TV or the way it's supposed to work, but that screen only stays open for 10 seconds and then disappears. Often before I could input the 4 digits and "select" button, it disappeared and I had to try again.. what a PITA.With this new remote I just click the channel numbers in no time voila up pops anyone of my ~ 500 channels. So much easier and these replacements were only $4 each! To set this new remote up all I had to do was pop in 2 AAA batteries and I was up and running. All the functions on it work perfectly. Needless to say, my OEM mini remote now resides in the table drawer nearby, while this replacement is right next to my TV chair.I highly recommend this replacement remote control for my Samsung Smart TV.P.S. After using the remote for a few days, I have one additional comment. The IR transmitter in the remote is very directional. You have to point it directly at the photodetector on your TV set. I presume this is due to a very focused or low power IR beam. This is NOT a big problem, you just need to be aware of it.

Outside of not having the LG logo on the remote, I can't say much is different than the original. The original remote has a bit of a textured look into its plastic and this remote seems to have it, but not as much. Outside of that, it is 100% identical. The remote's quality matches the original and comes with much less cost. Fully compatible, it controls the TV identical to the way the original controls, including the air mouse/pointer or whatever it's called. I can't say much to the battery life as it has only been a few months, but it really was not a decision making point for me.If there is one thing to criticize, the batter cover's hold is not very strong; it may slide out at times of use. I don't mind that either to knock of a star as a tiny piece of tape fixes that!

Needed new remote because the original stopped working. Original remote would turn TV on/off and volume buttons worked but I couldn’t get into the TV settings to link TV to soundbar using optical cord. This remote came out the package already able to power TV and the volume controls worked as well (after batteries of course). I simply held the home and back buttons at the same time to unpair. Pointed new remote at TV and pressed the wheel. I was then able to get into the settings option on TV to reconnect my soundbar to TV. What’s even better about this remote is it also controls the soundbar volume. This purchase was better than expected.

Didn’t even have to program it it worked instantly!!! Love it thank you !!! Buttons are great,, no lagging.. faster than my original smart tv remote.. battery seems to be lasting. And honestly for the price of two remotes it was well worth it!

Product connected as soon as I installed battery gave a 4 star because I had first one replaced due to back battery cover being loose/rattled. Had to drive to drop off defective item.

For a third party remote, it's certainly a great replacement especially if you have an older model smart TV. Great price for 2 if you don't mind third party devices. Same button setup and you don't have to worry about compatibility but I would check before you buy. It's almost identical to the OEM with the exception of the tiny studs on certain overused buttons otherwise I'd be fooled on how it looks identical to the original. That's probably the only thing that I will knock on them because it's confusing where to hit a certain button without those studs to guide your thumb without looking down at it. I use it now to relieve my original remote just in case.

Lost tv remote in a move and got Over night shipping & both of them work ! All I had to do was put the batteries in and press the power button just like it said! For my 2017 Samsung curve tv! Now I have a remote on my side and my bf has a remote on his win win ! Also this is exactly what the remote that the tv came with looked like ! I’m so happy I had to right a review !

When i bought my LG TV it came with their basic remote that didnt have voice control. Saw this and purchased it. It synced right up and voice activation works great. I will say that this does have the pointer option you can move the remote around and select which is cool. Only thing is that the wheel is sensitive so when you click the wheel it sometimes moves vs. Just the click needed. Overall im satisfied with this remote especially foe the price and functionality it adds to my tv as a replacement and would buy again if I had to.
