Worked fine. But if it could be just a little more heavy duty, with a longer pole.... it would be peefect!

Good quality
Both the pole and the net are setup for easy storage . The pole has a quick release to unlock the extension and the net can be folded down for storage. The netting is tough/light weight. I Pulled on all the stitching and it did not rip apart. The pole has a nice color and solid feeling to it. The pole has 2 non-slip grips on the handle one small and one very large for easy gripping. The Lock and unlock extension works well. Comes with a flash light without batteries. The flash light is light weight an requires 2 AA batteries and has a kit to assemble the flash light onto the pole if needed. The flash light is small enough for you to carry around in your pocket. The net size is good for large/medium to small chickens. (Barred Rock/Buff Orpington hens) I do not have extra large chickens to try it on and I am not sure I would feel comfortable using it on them.No I would not try it on a skunk. I don't think the arm is long enough for something like that.

Net ripped apart by 3 lb kitten
The net is not durable at all. Ripped apart by a small kitten.

This net was obviously rotten…caught one kitten and it ripped.
This was well made pile, but the net was obviously not strong enough for a kitten. Kitten immediately ripped hole in it.

Works for our smaller birds
I like the net and it works great for our younger chicks. I like that the top of the frame is made of an elastic type of band to keep you from knocking out your birds when bringing it down on them. It works very well for catching any of our birds that are not adults. The handle is easily adjustable and the birds' feathers don't get too stuck in the netting. All the nicer things aside, I have a larger net made by a different company and we tend to just go with it whenever we need to catch any of our chickens. The larger size of our other net just seems to make things easier when catching birds. The larger net was a lot more expensive so taking price into consideration, I think this is a nice net for chickens.
