Good Value
The controller was delivered two days after ordering as promised. I was scepical ay first that the controller could deliver the advertised 60 amps as this is a small package and it has very little in the way of heat sinking. However, there are four RU7088 driver MOSFET transistors in parallel and a 60 amp drain would result in 15 amps per transistor. The specified on state resistance for the transistor is .005 ohms which will result in a power draw of a little over 1 watt which s an acceptable rating for this design. There are two 80 amp relays working in concert to reverse the output. The input/output terminal strip is a bit light for 60 amps of current draw. I connected the controller to a 12volt battery and a load of about 20 amps and it functioned as advertised. The display is only on when the speed control is activated. My assessment is it is well worth the price.

I couldn't tell how it work. Before installing in a box the broke off the switch. Text the company no answer. You need to up grade the wire size.

Waste of money
First trip out on boat the white ghost (smoke) came out and it made motor stick on high. Wont handle 86 lb thrust motor

Works well enough
My only issue and reason to not give a perfect score is because of a strange "pulsing" at some levels. I'm not an electrician, but I did troubleshoot as well as I could and the issue has nothing to do with either the power supply nor the type of load. I'm using this device to power a few different high torque motors using 24vdc. I've used car batteries and a couple different 24vdc switching power supplies. Other than the odd surge-pulsing, this product works great and I've had no issues understanding the difference between peak and normal amps for usage. I'd recommend this product to anyone, especially for the value - keeping in mind that when it comes to electronics, you always get what you pay for.

Its good for trolling motors

not good for scooter or go kart application
it would be 5 stars for its low end fine tuning low speed adjustment it can do incredibly minute adjustments ....but when it comes to what application it's far from good for any kind of scooter or go kart type application that needs downhill slowing braking...it doesn't slow the momentum downhill it will do a full immediate emergency type stop but doesn't do any in between slowing....I had a different version from ebay which was worse it wouldn't do slowing or braking at all even on the level .it was deadly dangerous for any such application.this one does do slowing down on level ground ....this has become the really big issue for anything that needs slowing braking...it needs to have full electronic slowing braking .when I contacted the eBay seller they said oh yeah that one doesn't have electronic braking .but no mention of that on the sale page nor even since I complained so beware need to ask whether a speed controller has electronic braking for scooter or go kart type application

Poor build quality
Error on my part I shorted the pot to ground and burned up a trace. Can’t blame the produce for that. However when opening up the unit to troubleshoot the build quality became apparent. Poor component placement, heat shield still and clear plastic protective coating.. if I attempted to remove the plastic, the terminals labels would have come off as well.. I suppose the good news is I was able to repair the burn trace and the unit is working fine.. at least for now.
