Nicpro 4 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener, Mechanical Carpenter Pencils

I got this as a gift for my Husband and he was so happy with the quality! I was beyond happy with the quality for the price and variety of colors so he has every color he need for his jobs. It sharpens easily and grips the writing center well. It fits great in your pocket, pouch or bag and is thin and compact. It’s very durable, he uses it daily and carry’s it in his pocket and bag while being smacked, whacked and abused in daily work and never had an issue! It’s been so versatile for work and home project and he loves how great at works especially when I told him how much it was.

Nice set of carpenter pencils. Was not sure it was something I "needed" but pulled the trigger anyway and very glad I did. The range of colors really helps on different colored surfaces, more that I thought it would. This is probably a lifetime supply for me, but makes marking things a whole lot nicer. The built in sharpeners in each pencil is a very nice touch as well....no more scrounging around for a knife to sharpen the standard carpenter pencil or running to find a pencil sharpener for a standard #2. And a sharp pencil is key to accurate marking. Would buy again....if I ever lost this set.

Working out Great!! This was a purchase to just try out using mechancial pencil during building projects. Always been #2 pencil and these are Great, easy ti keep sharp and the point fine for sharp lines to cut. I think these are a great purchase for the value and will purchase again !!

This pencil set is pretty awesome in many ways. 1) Inexpensive. 2) No digging around for a sharpener. it is screwed in to the top. Makes it harder to lose. 3) If you do manage to lose the sharpener, there is an extra. 4) Lots of lead in 3 colors, that is separated into 4 cases. 2 granite and 2 with red and yellow. You can mix the lead up as you prefer. 5) 2 pencils. so if you're like me and can't find the one you put in your apron pocket, you have a spare. 6) I have only used the graphite and red, but they work well, and are highly visible on both paper and wood. The only negative is that the grip is really high up, and that is just weird, for me at least. I added a few layers of duct tape, with an outer layer of painters tape (to avoid the stickiness that duct tape can sometimes have) Problem solved. Great pencil set! Quick tip: when replacing led, I found it easier to unscrew the sharpener and load the lead through there. The instructions say to load the lead from the the point.

If your a carpenter or woodworker these are the pencils to have in your tool belt. I highly recommend these. Very visible lines for cutting. Various colors to choose from. The long tips let you mark the center of screw holes which your not able to do with regular pencils.

First off I do not know how i got along without these. I never thought much about a carpenters pencil till I got one free with an order. Its turned into my favorite tool in the shop. I know, out of thousands of.dollars of tools in my shop and a pencil gets my attention. All my friends who build have been over and tried to take my pencil so I keep a set on hand to give to my friends and now.their friends are trying to take theirs. It uses a very dark lead that shows up great on wood and the red and yellow works good too. I have used this thing religiously just about every day for about six months. Have not gone through the first full lead stick yet so I have about a six year lead supply on hand. The sharpener works great and I keep it in my pocket all the time and use for everything. Its funny because all my wood working friends somewhere in conversation brings up this pencil and how much they like it. I would just buy one and if you dont like it then toss it or send it to me. You will not lose that much money. Great value in my book!!!!!!!!

Great product and worked perfect for those who want exact lines in their measurements. The little sharpener in top of the pencil is very smart and convenient. No comparison to the standard pencils. The extra refills will last a long time. Quality is very good. Worth buying for sure. Very happy with the purchase
