Great Mix Of Songs
This has always been a terrific album and I have to say, it sounds a lot better on vinyl. The mix is great, the guitars are loud and up front, too. It's got a lot of rockers, but also has the great track, 'Before The Dawn', which is a great change of pace song, with just guitars and vocals, a song I really like and a good reason to buy the album in any form. Halford sounds as good here on this record as any of Priest's records. It's only 38 min., but it's priced right, usually less than albums of 50 minutes. Just an awesome example of how vinyl is the best choice for Metal!

Not too much to say, its the Metal God Rob Halford
Not too much to say, its the Metal God Rob HalfordI had the original vinyl which has taken a beating. So when i saw that this was reissued and released I jump on it along with a few other Priest vinyls. It arrived safely and I am proud to own this priest classic again. The color of the cover is a little more saturated then the original but hey its new and its reissued. I'll have to find the original and post a picture to show you what i mean. I have't opened it yet because i want to buy another one to open it up and play it LOUD. very happy with the purchase

It's the real deal!
I'm a snob, I admit it. I bought this album as an import so I could have Killing Machine instead of Hell Bent For Leather. The price was actually the same as the North American release, so why not? Anyway, lots of folks have reviewed this song by song, so let's keep this short by saying that Killing Machine is one of those albums where Priest has it down and codified their style. I still prefer Stained Class, but Killing Machine seems more together somehow than Sin After Sin, even though I really like that album too. Considering that Judas Priest is a band that can be very hit or miss with their albums, this is one where they are firing on all cylinders. Whatever the title, this album is one of the good ones.

Know what you are buying I guess would be the most important thing.
I liked the CD very much. What I didn't like was that I didn't know that this CD is exactly the same as the CD entitled Hell Bent For Leather. So I ordered both. I would have only ordered one if I had known better. I guess that it is my fault. But still would have preferred to buy only one.
