Amazon Grocery, Canned Pinto Beans, 15.5 Oz

The beans are good, and I have no problem with the texture, color, or nutrients, but the package arrived with half of the cans damaged. There was zero packing material in the box to cushion them. I ordered two sets of pintos (four cans each) and they arrived in the same box, rattling around without even old crumpled newspaper to hold them in place. I don't think they were delivered by Amazon, which could explain the bizarre lack of any packing. One can is so severely dented that it looks like it was run over by a truck. The other three that were damaged have dents on the top. The price was exceptional, but I don't think they came from the shelf in that condition. I am now awaiting four cans of chickpeas and hope they arrive intact.

Bought a bunch on a very good sale and they have been a great bargain item. Easily as good as the big brands. The beans seemed good quality and very sturdy, they held up well to cooking but softened easily, too. The sodium is somewhat high but that's with any canned product like this. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

Canned goods arrive dented. I was really wishing not to have to buy on store. Sigh. Taste is fine.

Very good beans. Packing is not ideal. Cans roll around and get dented. Fine for my immediate use, but cannot donate to the soup kitchen since they are usually damaged in transit. Can amazon.com bulk package 4 cans together so this doesn't happen?

Delicious pinto! I'm not sure how they do it, but these pinto beans are way better than any other canned pinto brand I've tried. Full of flavor, and clean, whole beans! Love em!
