Smart Outdoor String Lights 2, 144ft RGBIC Patio Lights with 45 Bulbs

We put these lights under our deck to light up our new patio, and I absolutely LOVE them!You can control them from your phone or with Alexa, and there are so many color options. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but Kirk is, so he handled the setup. Now he can change the colors from his phone or just tell Alexa what he wants.As for me, I can do all of those things, too. I just ask Kirk to do it.One of my favorite things is sitting on the deck with friends and texting Kirk to ask if he can “give my friends a show.” He can change the colors and lighting from his phone, and it is surprisingly entertaining!The lights look fantastic under the deck and really add to the atmosphere on our new patio. They're fun, versatile, and exactly what we wanted.Great lights—and apparently, a great source of entertainment, too!

Had these lights a few months and the power source died on me. Reached out to govee support and within a few emails they are shipping me out a new set. I have loved having these lights so much and its super lovely to have the company be so supportive if anything goes wrong! Will be buying many more lights from this company I also loce the app features and all the different settings.

BEWARE. These govee products are priced well. The real issue is that you get Chinese quality. Govee support is moderately accommodating if you're within your "warranty" window. The issue is that the hardware they will send you as a replacement has the same level of quality as the hardware you already had fail. It will inevitably fail again and they're not going to do anything about it once you're outside of the warranty window.I understand you're reading this and thinking "duh' that's how every company and product works. Except I'm telling you that the product is guaranteed to fail. It'll work great until it doesn't. I have purchased over 25 gover products equating to the thousands of dollars in spend. I can assure you that they will all have issues eventually.If you're lucky and the lights don't quit working on you. The power chords will. In some aspect or another you will face qc issues and be outside of your warranty.I have a ancient nanoleaf products that are close to being ten years old. They still function perfectly. The govee products are a complete gamble.If you want to take the gamble, good luck. Sure I have a few products that do not have issues (yet). Unfortunately, I have a ton that do and absolutely regret buying into the ecosystem.

I purchased these Govee Smart Outdoor String Lights for my backyard, and they have completely transformed the atmosphere of the space. One of my favorite features is the ability to control everything directly through the Govee app, which makes changing colors, brightness, scenes, and schedules extremely convenient. The app setup process was straightforward, and the lights connected quickly without any frustrating setup issues. I also really appreciate the wide variety of scene modes because it allows me to switch between relaxing warm lighting, colorful holiday themes, or more energetic effects depending on the occasion. The brightness level is impressive as well, providing plenty of illumination for patios, outdoor gatherings, or evening relaxation without being too harsh. The build quality feels durable and weather-resistant, and the lights have held up very well through rain, humidity, and changing outdoor conditions. Another feature I enjoy is the compatibility with Alexa and smart home controls, which makes it easy to adjust the lighting using voice commands when entertaining guests or relaxing outside. The bulbs themselves look modern and attractive, and the overall setup gives the backyard a very clean and upscale appearance at night. Overall, these are some of the best outdoor string lights I’ve owned, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to add customizable smart lighting and a more enjoyable atmosphere to their outdoor space.

I recently installed these Govee Smart Outdoor String Lights on my back patio using a separate string light hanging kit I also purchased. Once the hanging kit's support wire was in place, the Govee lights were a breeze to attach with zip ties, utilizing the handy loops built into the light string. This setup ensures no sagging, which looks great.The brightness of the warm white LEDs is just right, and the color-changing capability is fantastic, responding perfectly to both the Govee app (for initial setup) and Alexa voice commands. The dimming function works well, allowing for a nice ambiance when relaxing in the hot tub at night.While the lights offer 47 scene modes, I haven't explored those yet, as controlling the color and brightness via Alexa voice commands is simple and meets my needs. I haven't had any connectivity or reliability issues. Although the lights are somewhat protected under my eaves, they've been exposed to plenty of dew with no problems at all, indicating good weather resistance.The 144ft length was actually more than I needed; it comes in three sections, and I only used two. I wish Govee sold the controller separately so I could utilize the third unused section elsewhere. I purchased these during a holiday sale in 2024, and at that price, they felt like a great value. However, their regular price seems quite high.Compared to my previous basic Costco white string lights (which only had on/off functionality), these Govee lights are a significant upgrade with color changing, dimming, and voice control. The voice control is particularly convenient when I have my portable Alexa speaker outside by the hot tub. Overall, I'm happy with the lights, especially at the sale price – I'd recommend waiting for a discount to get the best value.

Really cool product. We did a major backyard reno project, and these new smart lights are the biggest "hit" of the whole thing, for only <$150. They're about twice the price of standard white LED string lights for the same length, but IMO certainly worth the extra. In addition to white, these can also do any color - You can pick any spot on a color wheel on the app to set all lights to that color. Every light is also individually customizable. It comes with ~50 preset themes, many of which have some degree of motion (some too much!), and you can program customized themes as well, such as red/white/blue or purple/orange for certain holidays, etc. In addition to providing ambience, these lights provide some fun entertainment themselves, as I'll find myself just sitting out back and playing with the app for kicks. Brightness is adjustable too, and they're bright enough that we have to dumb it down below 100% for most color themes.One thing to note: You can't just string together as many of these as you want like typical light strands that only have a power requirement, because smart lights also have a controller requirement that talks to each light. This set can do 1, 2, or 3 strands of 50 ft for up to 150 ft.I did have the same problem one other reviewer mentioned, where after a week they started randomly flashing real bad. Thought it was buggy and was about to return. But I noticed that the first strand was fine, the flashies were occurring every bulb after the first-to-second strand connection, and it had also rained recently. So I thought maybe moisture got in that connection. Unconnected, let it dry for a couple days, reconnected, ensured it was super tight, and sealed the connection with electrical tape to prevent moisture from getting in. Fixed it and have been running fine for 2 weeks since. Now all my connections have the same treatment. Hopefully that keeps the issue away, as it really is a neat product.

Very nice outdoor lights. App is easy to use and setup was simple. Lights up my whole patio on a 1% lighting setting. Programming for on and off daily is easy with the app.

Really like these lights and have them installed on the screen enclosure of our pool! The app is great and love the AI feature. I had them up for nearly a year when only the first few bulbs would light up and the rest were not illuminating. I used the “contact us” feature of the app to let Govee know of my issue. I received a reply in less than an hour asking for my Amazon order number. Within 4 business day I received replacement lights. Customer service was amazing.

I set these up on my gazebo. I enjoy the "scenes". You can choose any color or group of colors, and you can change how fast they flicker. I like the app, I find it works well. It does keep saying its disconnected from the lights, but then I click reconnect and it does so instantly, so it's not an issue. I'm happy I got these lights. They really enhance the ambience of my backyard! They have survived the first rains, so they seem durable.

Water got into one of the bulbs and now the whole string doesn’t work.Edit: I emailed Govee Support and they had a replacement on my doorstep in two days. I was really impressed.

These lights are absolutely beautiful and amazing. Customer service is the best of the best. This is a solid product. Govee has amazing quality lights for the price. There is an amazing community within the app which could be overwhelming at times, but there is tons of help in the community. I have several Govee products and the addiction is on! Bright lights, great scences and very programmable. And for that reason I'm in!

Thes lights Look amazing! It has a flexible full featured app that's full of customization beyond uou imagination! Beware that the total length doesn't factor in drop from the clip. So if you make it drop down 4 to 6 inches each buld that will be subjected from the overall listed string length as the clips aren't pre installed and don't include that. So my string with a 4 inch drop aprox per bulb to clip consumes aprox 5" x 2 wires into the clip, shrinking the overall string length to 106.5 feet. That's what I measured with tape measure to confirm also, my math works out. 😉Update: After nearly 7 months of running 6hr a night at 20% brightness the power supply failed.

I purchased these earlier this summer. I have them on my patio now for about three (3) months and I am using them daily. They work great, good quality and I am not expecting any trouble. I installed these using a separate purchased kit on Amazon with the cable and hooks to hang these lights on. This is highly recommended because you can create a tight and straight line to simply hang the lights on. This way there is no strain on the Govee wire which carries the electrical power.
