Fresh Turmeric Root, 500g

I have ordered this product twice now and both times it has arrived well wrapped and it is excellent quality and very fresh. I ordered from another seller for my very first purchase and was very disappointed. So I tried this seller and the difference in freshness and quality was amazing! If you want fresh, good quality turmeric at a reasonable price I would recommend this seller.

Took a while to arrive but great quality and flavour.The roots were fresh and lasted a long time in the fridge, where I stored them in a sealable bag with paper towels. Made for some amazing smelling and tasting curry pastes.As with all turmeric roots, they come in a variety of sizes.

Not a very good batch unable to use most of the package!

I find fresh turmeric root quite hard to come by in shops, unless it's in a major city, so I always buy it online. This purchase was made because my usual turmeric retailer was sold out. I feared the worst when ordering this and didn't really know what to expect, but it actually wasn't too bad at all. The turmeric wasn't completely fresh, but it was far from the worst I've ever purchased. The taste and texture immediately after it was delivered was pretty good.My only issue was that 500g lasts me approximately two months and towards the end of this period this turmeric root, despite being stored in a cool, dark place, was showing signs of mould growth on the ends. However, for several weeks it was absolutely fine. I would certainly buy this again if needed.

I know turmeric does not need to be ultra fresh, but I had some from Waitrose in the cupboard when this batch arrived. The Waitrose turmeric was 1 month out of date, but still looked fresher than the stuff pictured.

Good product

My second order. This great consistant quality and very good quantity which arrived before expected date, in perfect, fresh condition. Will be using this tumeric to try out a winter soup recipe, rice and spongy turmeric & lemon cake. It has lots of health benefits and I look forward to using it even though it stains, but I can live with that. Highly recommend.
