Another great Klein product. Nice flip socket. If you have the Icon Meme tool this socket will fit on the T handle portion of it and you can also store the extension in there as well to add to the versatility of the icon tool. Would buy again.

This Klein 32931M 2‑in‑1 Metric Impact Flip Socket is almost a 5‑star tool—if I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. I already own Klein’s larger metric and SAE flip‑socket sets, but I wanted a compact option with just the 8mm / 10mm flip socket on a 2‑inch shaft to fit inside a small ICON bit‑set case. Paired together, it’s a fantastic setup for working under automotive dashboards and in tight spaces. The design is extremely practical. The built‑in magnet makes starting and removing fasteners easy, and the socket quickly converts into a bit driver by sliding the flip socket forward. For compact automotive work, this versatility is perfect. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the fitment: The flip socket is tighter on the shaft than my other Klein flip sockets. Removing the socket takes more effort than it should. The shorter shaft doesn’t give you much to grip when pulling it off. I’m confident it will loosen up and break in with use, but out of the box it’s noticeably snug. Overall, though, this is a very useful compact flip socket that delivers the quality Klein is known for. Once it breaks in, I expect it to be a go‑to tool in my small automotive kit.

I keep these and the imperial sizes in a small tool bag for the house. One that my wife can access without me taking a fit. These are perfect for household repairs, furniture assembly and such. Thrown in a set of Knipex pliers and ya have an everyday set that will handle most tasks that take up little room. The quality is really good with these flip sockets. You don’t get every size, but it covers the most common stuff. So utilitarian for house stuff. Recommended.

95% of the times I use a socket it's 8mm or 10mm so having these two in an impact rated but tiny package is amazing. I also have the 6 in one set from Klein. Awesome built quality and just so useful.
