All The Great Knowledge You Need
Its the Perfect Gift - For me - to give that person you know who has been collecting the books since they were a kid. There are never any useless facts in this book, maybe ones that sound far fetched, but through the decades, people have become only too familiar with The Guinness Book Of Records. I would sometimes have it in my rucksack during a pop Quiz, or a gathering of friends who have a thirst for knowledge.Astrology and Science, my forte, comes in handy when that question of all space questions pops up: Who was the very first astronaut from the UK to spend several weeks on the ISS?A great book, time and time again it has amazed as well as enlightened the readers. The quality I would say could break a toe if dropped from above waist height, while the price - the cheapest of all book outlets - very fair and well. So, if you're thinking of a Christmas Gift or Birthday Present to send someone this year, then get them The Guinness Book of Records. They'll love you for it.

Page-Flipping World Record Attempt (I Almost Set One Reading This!)
I wrapped Guinness World Records 2025 for a birthday present, then “tested” it myself and lost an entire evening shouting “NO WAY!” at every page. This edition is a laugh-a-minute stat attack that lands with equal force on grown-ups, kids, and anyone who ever tried to balance spoons on their face.Highlights that made me snort-laugh:A man who sprinted a half-marathon while wearing a full suit of medieval armour—because normal blisters just aren’t epic enough. The largest gathering of people dressed as alpacas. (Apparently there’s an alpaca dress code: long neck mandatory.)A chef who stacked so many waffles in one tower it required structural-engineering approval—breakfast meets Jenga.Someone officially certified for having the world’s deepest pocket… which feels like a tax-evader’s fantasy come true. The photo spreads are bold enough to wow little readers, while the margin trivia will satisfy any adult who loves dropping random facts at dinner parties. The print quality’s robust—thick, glossy pages that can survive syrupy fingers and still flatten out.Pro tip: Keep a stopwatch handy; the “Try This at Home” sidebars will have the whole family competing to beat records you didn’t know existed (fastest sock-pairing, anyone?). Just warn the neighbours before you attempt the loudest kazoo chorus.Bottom line: Whether you’re nine, ninety, or somewhere in between, this book is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser—the best way to discover humanity’s weirdest talents without accidentally gluing yourself to anything.

A Timeless Gift That Never Gets Old!
I remember getting Guinness World Records books every Christmas as a child and being fascinated by the crazy facts inside. So, I decided to buy this for my 10-year-old granddaughter, and she loved it! It kept her entertained for hours as she excitedly shared facts about the tallest, shortest, and fastest people to have ever lived. It’s a wonderful gift that sparks curiosity and brings back fond memories – definitely worth it!

Great book but arrived damaged
This was bought as a Christmas gift for my son, we buy an updated one every year and was pleased to find this one on Amazon! The book was quite poorly package and arrived with a small split on the spine which was crushed and wrinkled unfortunately so probably won't buy another from here, I'll buy from a bookshop next year. The book itself is great! Lots of facts and plenty of vivid illustrations make this a fun book to read. The records are set in categories so very easy to find what you're interested in.I've bought this for an 11yr old but I know I'll be reading it too!
