Fits 3/8" standard ratchet. Not sure why the product description was unclear (omitted), but the backside of this tool fits a standard 3/8" ratchet - or you can connect to a drill using the included adapter. This Universal Socket works, it's not a silly gimmick - it's a real thing. Though, the wider and thicker size the of socket makes it too big for fitting in many tight spaces. It's fine for certain situations where I'm working on 2+different size nuts/bolts at the same time- and not limited in access space. Got this at a great price-point and it's a nice thing to have (but far from game-changer).

My wife has her own "toolbag" but has no desire to fish around for the right size socket, but this one is one size fits all more or less and works great

I'm not an expert in home tools, but having a universal socket can truly save you when you need to make a quick fix. The product quality seems adequate for the price paid. This seems like a silly gimmick but overall this tool is extremely useful. Durable, easy to pop on and use, it’s a little heavy but I believe that speaks to the quality of material. I have two of these now for my business and use both of them daily for years now. Had to buy the second since everyone kept borrowing mine.

I’d give this universal socket a proper 3 out of 5 stars. It works as described in terms of adjusting to a wide range of sizes, and it’s convenient for quick jobs where you don’t want to dig through an entire socket set. It grips most regular bolts and hooks well enough, and the flexibility is great for light household tasks. Downside is the performance feels a bit limited when dealing with tougher or tight bolts. The drill adapter isn’t included, so you have to buy extra pieces to get the most out of it. For occasional use, it’s not bad an handy but it’s not a full replacement for a reliable socket set if you’re doing more serious work. Overall, useful but not essential. Decent for casual DIYers, but don’t expect perfection for heavy-duty tasks.
