The cap arrived with an overly stiff, zig-zag lanyard with a giant hole and no fitting to attach it to the fuel door as on the OEM cap. It has a round-profile, split-ring gasket whereas the OEM has a rectangular profile gasket with open slot running around the outside of its perimeter. This means the OEM cap has much greater sealing surface. The caps "threads" are completely different than the OEM and different from what is shown in the photo for my car. But, I figured hey, how much differance can that make, after all, all filler openings are pretty much the same. Well, the first thing is my check engine light never went out which indicates code P0442 is still valid (slow leak in evap system which is usually the gas cap). So I manually cleared it with my Xtool A20 Pro and started driving. About 20 miles later I got a "loose gas cap" alert on my instrument display - I guess that pretty much says it all, but I didn't get the check engine light - hmmm. Later, I gave the cap a good twist to tighten it as much as possible and again got the loose gas cap warning.Today I put the OEM cap back on - it's certainly no more likely to throw a code than this brand new one!I checked my order and noticed it shows I ordered a cap for a different series of cars, and clicking the link took me to that page. So I went through all the choices to find the one that indicated my car and placed it in the cart and it certainly shows MY car on the order, whereas the previous order does NOT show my car even though at the time, the Amazon feature that determines if a part fits "your car" claimed the first one I ordered was correct.

Arrived on time, exactly as described, works perfectly and was dirt cheap! How could I possibly complain or do anything other than compliment?

My engine light keeps coming on and saying that the cap needs to be tightened

The pig tail is a little short and the ring around the cap doesnt swivel very good. It takes me both hands to put the cap on. But replaces a cap with a cut pigtail

now seven days after installing this, my check engine light came on for the reason of gas, cap and fuel releasing vapors because the cab does not fit my car, but does make a click in addition to that. It's still a loose gas cap. There is no tab to install it to fasten it to the car you would have to glue it tape it or make your own bolt to fasten it to gas door Now the picture does show a tab to pop it on, but mine did not come with that
