Updated: These work exactly as advertised!
I was able to replace 3 leaking valves on 3 different versions of Nike Strike Soccer Balls with "hidden" valves. It takes a little bit of effort to lever the old valve stems out but installing a new valve stem is relatively easy. I have found it best to have at the ball slightly deflated and then I use a flat tip screwdriver to push the flange of the valve under the extended outer cover of the Nike Strikes. I hold the screwdriver so that it is resting flat on the wide flat side of the screwdriver head (not the end that you would use to actual screw in something) and then gently push down and viola the replacement goes in and you have salvaged an expensive soccer ball.Update: After daily use since the start of soccer season in August, all 3 balls show no signs of leaks.Update: The new valves continue to perform flawlessly after two seasons of soccer! Thanks for making a long lasting product that works as advertised!

NIKE ball owners - it CAN be done
My ‘expensive’ match ball wouldn’t hold playable air beyond an hour or so - researched for weeks on a solution. Plenty of valve replacement videos out there but they all pertain to Adidas balls exclusively (europass, jabulani, etc) which made me worried I wouldn’t have success (Adidas valves are fully exposed (pencil eraser) but Nike has a much smaller opening in paneling (bb sized)) - my ball is a Nike Ordem 4Tried the latex tire sealant method first, to no avail. Pretty devastated. Next purchase the ‘pumptheballup’ kits (already had a crochet needle but no new valves so just went for the set) After a couple Nike owners reported that it can be done, despite disclosing no lack of difficulty, I thought I’d take a chance.Took 5-10 minutes and some uncertainty about whether my ball wouldn’t be resurrected - take care in the actual removal of the old valve, was millimeters away from having it break inside the bladder given the size of the opening through which it had to be removed. When it comes to inserting the new valves, they’re fortunately conical as opposed to the squared off ones that come standard. Other users reported requiring needle nose pliers. I found success my inflating to 5-6psi for resistance while pushing, leaving the inflation needle inserted (finger kept on at all times to retain air pressure) and then used the reverse end of the tool (kinda like a wide flat head screwdriver) to carefully dig the valve into the small opening. Like a cumbersome tupperware lid, going around and keeping what you’ve already managed to insert in place as you go.Total success!! Two mornings later, less than half a PSI lost. Not saying it’s easy or not gonna send your emotions to the brink with a prized match ball but it can be done. NIKE owners, there is hope, despite the lack of tutorial support out there.*Note: In the attached picture you can see the size of hole we’re working with and I did experience minor tearing on the paneling in order to get the new valve reinserted. Not sweating it.

Did not work for footballs x2
Followed instructions, watched the video, and even though I finally got the valve ‘in’ the ball would not inflate. I tried my small ball pump and even a compressor- the balls would not inflate - at all. The balls both had leaking valves and replacing them with this kit made it worse, not better. I do not recommend this for football valve repairs.

Experience on a Wilson Evolution basketball
I used this product to replace the bladder on a Wilson Evolution basketball. As others have stated, the tool provided doesn't work very well. Not sure this is due to tool, or just the design of the Wilson bladder - but I couldn't pull it out cleanly and ended up using needle-nose pliers to remove the old bladder in parts. When I put the new bladder in, I discovered there was still a piece of the old bladder remaining that ended up rattling around in the ball - yikes! But...not wanting to throw away a $60 ball, I put some super glue (the thick kind) in the ball and managed to glue the piece to the wall. The tool also didn't work well to insert the new bladder, and again, I ended up using the needle nose pliers to insert. You have to push the lip of replacement bladder into the hole and work your way around the outside to get it to go in.But it DID ultimately work and the new bladder does seem to be holding and not leaking - hence the three stars.

Saved a Wilson Evolution Basketball
I was able to salvage my kid’s Wilson Evolution Basketball using this valve repair kit so that’s a huge plus but I did notice that the valve sits about 1/3 of a cm below the surface of the ball. If that valve was made a tad bit longer, it would have the valve sit flush with the surface of the ball. Overall, it’s easy to use and the valve is thick enough to sit in the hole securely. It served its purpose and was able to prolong the use of this $70 ball. Two thumbs up!!

They work
Four of my Select soccer balls were not holding air. I decided to try the replacement air valves. Bottom line - they work.Yes, it is difficult to remove the old valve, but by the time I did the fourth ball I was pretty good at it.Yes, inserting the new valve is difficult, but by the time I did the fourth ball I was an expert.Watch the videos on YouTube, there are some great ideas on how to insert the new valve. It does take some "muscle" to remove the old valve.Just an FYI, on the four balls I replaced the valves I needed six valves because I damaged two during the insertion process, however, I learned from my mistakes and will not make the mistakes in the future.

Works with Nike soccer balls
Works wonderfully with Nike soccer balls, don't let the smaller opening worry you. Just took a little extra effort to get the new valve in place. Now, no more leaky valve, which was a common issue for the 22-23 club elite balls.
