Great Wnch
these are great winches. I have them on my crank up tower and they work without flaw.

good upgrade for K1550
This is a nice winch. I replaced the K1550 on my crank-up tower with this and am glad I did. What I don't like is that this product line has a new owner that does not support the full Fulton product line. You cannot get parts for the K1550 anymore, so you are forced to upgrade to this one, including fabricating an adapter since the bolt pattern is different.

met all expectations, replaced the stock k1550 on my TX 455 tower, but had to purchase an adaptor plate to install on tower

Safety first
I was so relieved when this was installed. If you have ever had a broken crank with no brake on a sixty foot auger, you will know why.

Perfect for Tilting Tower
This winch works great for tilting up and down my crank up tower. Just the right ratio to do it by hand without wearing myself out. This winch is quite sturdy and I have confidence it will do the job for a long time. Worth the extra cost.
