After using for about a week the fan now makes a horrendous sound. It makes it unusable in the bedroom when I’m trying to sleep. Disappointed as it was working well before that.

This is a fab idea, a ceiling light and fan that fits in to your existing light fitting, providing its a screw fitting. If you use bayonet light bulbs, then you'll need to replace the fitting. Simply remove your bulb and screw this in and away you go. The light is dimmable and the warmth/colour is also adjustable with the remote. the fan can also be turned on and off from the remote. The problem I found is, with a standard pendant light fitting, with a flexible cord coming from the ceiling, when the fan is on it causes the flex to rotate and wobble a bit. Not too much of an issue, but I do wonder what wear & tear damage might be occurring to the flex/cord over time. The solution is to change the pendant fitting to a fixed (solid) fitting, but although this resolves the issue of the fan moving the fitting, it is a touch noisier as the vibrations from the fan travel much better through a solid fitting rather than the flex, to the ceiling and cause it to be noisier. Overall though, for the money, a good product.

Parts missing so unable to install to ceiling only light and remote came in box, if was possible would like part missing so can connect to ceiling but don’t know where to get part that missing

Vibrated a lot when I tried it and was already an open box with marks on item inside feels like this had been returned before. Didn’t want to trust this in my grandsons bedroom
