This is a wonderful product. I got a set of 3 soap bars - to wash my hands, use in the shower and I gave one as a gift to my daughter.This is my first experience with tallow and this soap is amazing. Leathers well and is so gentle on the skin. Obviously made with a lot of love and care.When I researched into other products that have tallow, it seemed like quite a few customers complain about the smell. Not an issue with this soap. My son smelled it and said it smells like an old-fashioned (in a good way), hand-made soap. I have a very sensitive nose and at times I can smell a tiny bit of the top quality beef broth. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that for me. If I enjoy eating something, I can definitely tolerate it on my skin. And even so, this smell is very light and goes away in seconds. These soaps are made of triple-rendered tallow and I know that such rendering makes tallow very clean and with no to little scent.I wish Amazon offered more of such traditional, small batch, lovingly hand-made products and less of imported junk that is mostly the result of mass production.

Nice soap. I have very dry skin so this helps me to stay moisturized and not itchy.

I have been experimenting with different soaps which led me to tallow soaps. What I have found is that a lot of "tallow" soaps are actually castor oil, sunflower oil, or olive oil soaps with some tallow in them. This soap is pure saponified tallow (tallow and lye) and distilled water. It is a nice, hard (long lasting) soap; not soft, goopy, or quick to melt.Also, one use and some raised red bumps on my arms that have been there for ages are reduced.I highly recommend this soap!

I love this soap. I do jiu jitsu so I'm showering between 1 and 3 times a day and need serious cleaning action to prevent skin infections from the mats. My skin is so soft, even my kid has noticed and loves rubbing my arms. I'm Working on using it as shampoo which has helped big time with my scalp problems and the over all look and feel of my hair. I've started getting complements on how healthy it looks. I use a lot of oil to braid my hair before class so i have a tendency to be on the oily side but if I didn't use oil to braid it back I probably would not have any issues.Update: still loving the soap but it is not working as a shampoo. Ended up with way too much build up twice, which was solved my alternating in a different shampoo bar however both times gave me a lot of dandruff.

Wanted to love this soap, as I have had success with another company's 100% pure organic tallow balm for moisturizing. I developed severe skin allergies and sensitivities during Covid. You name the sensitive skin product, and I will eventually develop a sensitivity to it. With this tallow soap, I began to itch immediately after showering with it, on my scalp and my body. Since the ingredients are so limited and there is no fragrance, maybe I'm sensitive to the grasses those grass fed cattle are eating? In any case, sadly, I had to return these soaps. But I applaud the company and its mission. Just didn't work for me.
