No volume problem solved
Had to watch a YouTube video to install. Instructions were there but not adequate or I couldn't understand them. Regardless, works as described and my 07 BMW e93 with optical audio now works with my Enon Stereo

Too Expensive, Better Instructions Needed
Much too expensive for what it is. It's $100 for a box that lets the radio talk to the car, when the radio is already supposed to talk to the car. Seems like a bit of a waste. I understand the necessity (I bought it after all), but it still hurt me right in the wallet. Also, and this just seems to be the norm with Eonon products, the instructions could use some work. Eonon made a good dozen different versions of what is, seemingly, the same headunit for the BMW E9X cars, but their audio output harnesses are all different. Finding any information on how to connect all of the different components is challenging, to say the least. Took me way longer than I'd care to admit to realize the RR and RL connectors were redundant in my application, and that I only needed to connect this decoder to the FR Out and FL Out at the headunit. Hope this might be at least some shred of help to somebody.

A must have if you want to retain the factory amp and subs in your E90.

I've seen a lot of people get frustrated when getting an aftermarket radio and not knowing how to install them. Some are plug and play and others take extra equipment like this. Installation was easy and everything plays great. FYI always do your research.

Works great, I am actually using it on my 2011 Mercedes ML350. Works great, these should all be standard so no worries, the fiber optic cables in the European cars are all the same.
