Great build quality, light weight yet solid.Extremely bright and the tactical aspects work really well with the strobe effect being extremely effective.Really nice build quality in aluminium, good waterproofing and with a decent charge time and runtime. The inclusion of a USB-C charging port allows for convenient recharging.It includes a clip for easy attachment to belts or bags etc, increasing portability and accessibility. The overall design is compact and ergonomic, making it easy to handle.Multiple modes mean more versatility in different situations you may find yourself in. Feels robust, and it performs well even in adverse conditions. Just slightly hot on the price side.

I liked this torch from HOTO.It has a qaulity look and feel to it with it's satin aluminium finish.It's not too big or heavy, it will fit into my coat pocket or with its strong wire clip with rubber grip i can carry it on my belt.With a press of the on/off button the torch lights up on it's lowest brightness setting which is suitable for most tasks.Press it again for a higher level of illumination and once more for full brilliance.On the highest setting this torch is exceedingly bright and it will light up the surrounding area to a high level.There is another button on the base of the torch that operates the tactical features.Press it lightly and it lights up immediately on full brightness,a slightly harder press strobes this light and it can be used effectively as a means of self defence or to attract attention if in distress.The light goes out the instant the button is released.I will say at this point that i don't think this torch is suitable for use by children unless perhaps supervised due to it's high level of brightness and strobing feature.The torch comes with a short usb A to type C lead to charge the fitted battery supplied and alternatively it has the ability to be powered by two non rechargeable batteries of type CR123A (not supplied) that fit into a holder that is inserted into the torch should the rechargeable one run down during use.When being powered this way the torch works at a reduced brightness level.When charging the on switch lights up and fades continuously until charging is complete,a feature the manufacturer calls a breathing effect.When fully charged the light stays on for 20 seconds then goes off.When using the torch battery level is indicated at 30% by the indicator light white and on,below 30% it turns red and at 10% it flashes red so I will know when it requires recharging.I think this is a powerful, well designed and engineered torch of qaulity construction perfect for anyone who wants one that is a not too big but is still powerful,and I think the tactical features are a great additional feature that would be extremely useful in an emergency.I am happy to recommend it.
