This little hard boiled egg cooker is the greatest little invention. Works like a charm.. no more boiling, timing it, ice baths.. THIS IS EASY and the eggs come out perfect and peel easily. I'd recommend this one.

We absolutely love this egg cooker! My wife uses it daily and it makes perfect eggs every time. It’s quick, easy to use, and very convenient for busy mornings. The size is great and it cooks evenly without any hassle. Cleanup is simple too. Definitely one of the most useful small kitchen appliances we’ve bought. Highly recommended!

Works really good. Definitely easier and faster than using pot and boiling water. It was so quick too. when I herd the alarm, I thought no way, but sure enough it was done. Gave the eggs an ice bath for 10 min after and they peeled take easy.

I started eating 2-3 hard boiled eggs since I read an article about all the vitamins and other nutrients that are in eggs. Very good for your body and especially your eyes. Just did my first batch of 6 eggs and immediately doing my 2nd batch of 6 eggs ( bought 12 eggs). A hard boiled eggs takes 19-20 minutes then it says leave in the cooker another 1 minute for hard boiled eggs. I left them in the cooker another 2-3 minutes. Took them out and immediately put in bowl of cold water to cool them down to handle. After about 5 minutes I took them out, tapped each end on the counter then rolled them between my hands. I'm here to tell you the shells just fell off. Don't know why. I have done them many times on the stove and some were difficult to get the shell off. Perfect hard boiled eggs. Regarding the recipes that are in the product description, there are NO recipes in the booklet. There is a page that talks about poached eggs and another page talks about using the omelet bowl. The rest of the booklet is instructions in Spanish and French. Would I buy this again. Yes absolutely. Worked great. Clean up was easy. Btw regarding time age, I thought there was a timer or something. No not at all. It's based on how much water you put in the cooker depending on how many eggs you are cooking and how much you want them cooked. Looking at the chart, 6 eggs hard boiled is 19 minutes. Timing with my watch 19-20 minutes is when all the water is evaporated in the cooker and the buzzer goes off. Then I waited an extra 2-3 minutes then took the lid off. Perfect hard boiled eggs. B+ TLDR: This is NOT an automatic egg boiler. This thing requires user attention as soon as it's done cooking. Otherwise it would be a 5-star product. It poaches eggs very well. It also makes tamago strips. It is unclear whether this product is easy to use given the following: If you don't know how to make boiled eggs, this thing will make boiled eggs better than you. It will do so every single time. It is perfectly serviceable and designed very well. It will poach eggs better than you can probably poach eggs in a pot. HOWEVER If you do know how to cook boiled eggs this thing will not save you any time. It takes ~1 minute to get an ounce of water boiling on the stove, and 9 minutes to steam, and 2-3 minutes or so to rinse and cool them off. This machine takes 15 minutes to steam the eggs, and you still have to spend the time to cool them off and rinse them afterward. At no point in the user manual for this thing does it say that you have to cool the eggs to stop the cooking process. I did an experiment: I did some soft boiled eggs and left them in the turned-off steamer for half an hour, and they were hard-boiled by the time I got back to them. Of course this is obvious information for someone who knows how to cook eggs. So I have to ask: Who is this product for? Does it require knowledge of how to cook eggs or not? The above statement means the Auto Shut off feature is useless. It requires the user to intervene. This thing cannot be left out to do your eggs while you go grocery shopping or mow the lawn. On the other hand, for $20 this is not the worst way you could potentially spend your money. It is clearly worth the cost. If you want to make an egg salad this is not what you want, but if you're making a small multi-course meal like in Asian cuisine having this thing off to the side making your eggs while you do everything else will be pretty convenient. Obviously this thing's primary use case is soft-boiling eggs for ramen. It looks neat. I don't like the kind of plastic it's made of but I do like how it fits in with my kitchen. I love appliances with wooden accents. This kind of plastic seems like it should bend and warp. I'm curious to see how long this will hold up with a lot of use. My instinct is that it might not last very long under prolonged use.

This egg cooker works fast and great. I have made hard boiled eggs according to every different set of instructions on the world wide web. I just can't get them right. No matter what I do they break into teeny tiny pieces with the egg coming off with the shell until there's nothing left to eat. This makes them perfectly! I'm sure most of these egg cookers work great too, but what I especially like about this one, and the reason that I chose it, is the shape. Most of them are round but this rectangular one is easier to store. It fits right against the side of my cabinet and everything else in the cabinet fits right along with it.

I love the compact size and design of this egg cooker. Although I have another egg cooker, it had an aluminum base that required distilled water and was a royal pain to clean. This one has a plastic tray with a stainless steel heating disk and a quick swipe with a paper towel after it cools has it looking just like new. The vent holes are offset, so the cover can be removed without steam burns. The water cup is easy to read with separate markings for soft-, medium-, and hard-boiled eggs. The pin on the bottom of the cup is easy to use - just tap the eggs and place in the holder. Then, add the water, cover, and flip the switch to cook. When the timer sounds, the cooker automatically shuts off. I use tongs to remove the eggs and drop into a bowl of ice water. It really couldn't be easier. And, with six eggs, breakfast is served in just a few minutes. Two for my husband, two for me, and one for each of our dogs. While the eggs are cooking, I have just enough time to brew coffee and make toast. It looks like I work harder than I do, and I'm not admitting any different. The egg poaching cups are also a winner, although, I have some teflon lined cups that work equally well with this cooker. The omelet cup probably works just fine but it's just as easy for me to use a non-stick skillet on my range. I am very happy with this purchase.

My husband is on carnivore and we now swear by this product. Prior to purchase I would spend so much time prepping his eggs, sometimes I would just pop into a store and grab some premade ones, and I can say that these are much better tasting than those and so much easier to make than the traditional boiling method. Once you get a hang of how to use it, it's simple. The directions are very straight forward. I haven't messed up an egg since. To top it off they are super easy to peel.
