Absolutelly love the Connections but be aware the battery drains insenly quickly. Connecting option makes it worse. If you don't connect with another device they last longer.

Love this new tamagotchi the battery did die quickly and could do with a little lightening on the screen viewing as becomes dark in low light places but all in all I love this

Purchased three tamagotchi connects for my three children for Christmas and all three have had the exact same issue. They can hatch, feed, care for the ‘pet’ fine for days but as soon as they load the game to play a game to make it happy it crashes and comes up with the battery sign. We reset the devices and again it would work fine until the we loaded the games and then it would crash again. Seems to be a common software issue. We contacted the company for advise and didn’t even get a response from them so I will be trying to return these as they are not fit for purpose. Such a shame as my girls were excited to connect and play together with their newer model tamagotchis.

The tamagotchi itself is very fun to use, and the fact that it comes in a two-pack is great. However, despite having read some reviews mentioning battery life before purchasing I am quite disappointed at how frequently the battery needs replacement indeed. It's happened twice on the pink one and three times on the blue one. Each time I replaced with a brand new high quality battery, and even tried to keep the sound off to prolong battery life... To no avail! So just something to keep in mind if you're thinking of buying it.

i waited a while to write my review just to see if any faults came up later on (since some of the other reviews seem to be having issues with their tamagotchis) but i havent had any issues and ive been playing about 2 weeks. ive never actually owned a tamagotchi despite always wanting one so my inner child is satisfied lol. my tama works perfectly and ive been running it using the battery it came with out of the box, im surprised as to how long this battery lasts! my only tiny issue is that the contrast is a bit low so youll need to have fairly bright lighting conditions to be able to see the things on screen, BUT its not that bad and in most cases you should be able to see things fine. overall im really happy with mine :D

Gift for son. He loves it

As a collector I love these, they're gorgeous and they feature some mechanics that the other tamagotchis don't have like weight, which gives the way you play it more consequence. If you like tamagotchis absolutely grab this one especially if it's on sale. If you're concerned that you can't use an item, it may be because it's exclusive to certain characters, which is part of more of the variation that makes me love this tama.
