The Tesla of Battery Chargers
The media could not be loaded. These batteries, and the charger are clearly the Tesla of the rechargeable market! Sleek lines, and modern colors, melded with high performance make for a smooth and carefree experience. I first bought an eneloop battery kit about a year ago from Costco, and I fell absolutely in love with them. They are long lasting and have not given me any of the trouble that some of the older rechargeable batteries are liable to give. These are new fourth generation batteries, with all the technology and extras that one might expect from the modern era. They are extremely long lasting, and although I haven't counted the cycles that I've used, I have no trouble believing that they'll make 2100 cycles in their lifetime. And, after 5 years of use they will still have 70% of their life left which is a big wow if anyone remembers those old batteries! Other nice features include individual battery charging. There's nothing more annoying than having to charge two, or worse four batteries all at once! This charger has engineered it's charger logically so that every battery is charged by itself on its own circuit individually, with no waiting or searching for another battery before you can charge that third one. With all of these features, you might think that there is no room for more, but wait, automatic safety turn-off in case of battery reversal, or over charging! And little LED lights that turn off when your battery is full. The only thing I really don't like, and I guess there had to be something, is the fact that the lights indicating that they need to be charged, are green. Yes green ,the color that means “go”, or” good”, or “hey, it's time to take me out, right”?! No, green in this case means “nope, we need more charging please!” Ah well, I guess nothing is perfect;)

Eneloops are revolutionary
My go to battery for years. Great for any type of gadget or toys. You will probaby need to charge more often than using a standard battery life, but the cost saving over the life of these makes it a no-brainer choice for an environmentally and economically solid choice.Reviews like these help me to make purchasing decisions. My goal is to help you have information to make purchasing decisions, and I am not going to waste your time if the product is no good, I will be up front and say it is. Superb
These are excellent batteries. The included charger is not fast by any means but it is very good. It slowly charges the batteries and they barely get warm to the touch. I especially love these in flashlights and headlamps as their power curve provides bright light until the batteries are almost dead. About the only thing that could have been improved was the directions for the charger. A light under the battery means it is charging, when the light goes out the battery is done charging. If you see a blinking light that battery is bad. This wasn't clear to me from the instructions. I had some older rechargeables of another brand that were giving me blinking lights and I had to hunt the web for the answer. Other than that these are perfect and hold a charge very well. The ones I got were ~85% charged, which meets the claim that they are ready to use. I still topped them off before using them though. You do need to make sure your device is compatible with these batteries though. I saw one guy say they were terrible because they didn't work in his GPS. His GPS wanted voltage over 1.5V, which these aren't going to give him. But for normal devices like XBox controllers, flashlights, TV Remotes, radios, night lights, etc, these are excellent and keep a lot of junk out of the land fill.

If you're looking for a pair of AA's for something like a 360 controller
After days if not weeks of researching, I finally decided on buying these Panasonic Eneloops. If you're looking for a pair of AA's for something like a 360 controller, wireless mouse, or even Steam controller, these are exactly what you're looking for. Depending on the device however, they can fit extremely snug. You may have issue getting these out of a controller due to the size of them and might have to pry them out using some leverage. The 4 AAA's that come with this bundle are what make it so great. Although the usage of them is more rare than AA's, with the pair you no longer have to worry about not having some on hand. Some smaller remote controls or older cameras that need them will work perfectly with these.Note that due to the design of NiMH batteries things may not appear to be charged fully 100%, but that's only because they're designed to monitor at an alkaline's 1.5v level. This may cause issue if you rely on the battery level monitor to replace things, but if you always have an extra pair on hand you won't have to worry. Especially if your main use is something like a game controller which will last much longer than normal alkaline batteries. You literally cannot go wrong with this purchase, and the reviews show it.
