Never work without one
Loaned one to friend who never returned it, so had to replace. Can’t live without these center punches. Have to have for starting screws on metal

works like it should
I had one of these but lost it. Got one from Harbor Frieght but it didn't work right. No matter how many times I adjusted the spring tension it would not "click" the point into work piece. Got these from Amazon and both work perfectly right out of the package with no adjusting.

Junk
Look nice and have a good feel to them. They are junk though, only work every 3rd or 4th time. Took it apart and put wd40 on it and thought it was fixed, but only lasted for like 5 punches and went back to only working every 3rd or 4th time. Going in the trash.

Perfect tool to have
This works phenomenally. As their first responder, I ended up having to use it for the first time the other day to break a window out. The first punch seemed to weaken the window, but the second one completely shattered the window. Worked flawlessly. Super easy to use as well.

not great but works...sometimes.
They look good but don't work as well as they should, meaning they work some of the times. So, not great but worth 5 bucks if you need an inexpensive punch.
