MasterCable • CL3 Rated 2-Conductor Pure Copper Cable USA Made 14 Gauge, 250 FT

I have my whole house wired with this wire, inside and outside. It's been 3 years and I see no degradation in the wire or sound to date. This new wire is to add 4 speakers around the pool with the longest run being about 150'. I expect it to be fine as other runs have been at least 100'.

I needed cable for my home theater setup, and this was a good choice. I have had no issues with sound quality or loss of signal. My longest run is about 60 feet. I gave it 4-stars only because I ran into an issue where the cable bunched up and I had to pull about 75 feet out of the box because it would not feed. That was a small hiccup and does not take away from the overall quality of the product for me.

Nice wire. Buried the wire around my pool area for 7.1 channel system. Longest run was close to 100 feet from amplifier with no problems. I'm happy with gage, quality and functionality of the product. Shipping was awsome too. Ordered in late afternoon Thursday and guaranteed delivered by Tuesday. Product shipped Friday from Orlando FLA. and was in Cincinnati OH. hub by Saturday. Shipped out again and in Ontario Canada hub by Sunday. DHL had it on my doorstep by noon.

I am very pleased with this speaker wire. I've purchased inferior Chinese made speaker wire in the past and felt deceived about the gauge, the coating of copper and cheap sheathing so I wanted to get American made this time. This American-made speaker wire isTrue 14 gauge 100% copper, quality sheathing. I bought a little more that I actually needed but I'm gonna run some additional wires for future purposes in case I decide to add some speakers ,I'm very happy I did.

I know for certain the box I got was not 14 gauge and I'm skeptical that it was 250 feet. I wired four speakers with the longest run being 50' and I ended up running out about 8' shy on my last one. The box and sheathing were both labeled 14 gauge but looked more like 16 or 18 compared to a 14 gauge wire I had from a previous installation. Also, I was using the 16 gauge stripper on my Klein wire stripper.Still though, the price is right for 16 gauge and the wire was densely packed, if not the correct gauge.

Easy to run, easy to strip, seems like decent quality, and I got it for a good deal. My zone 2 was making me cringe when I saw the price of some other "premium" cables. However, I'm a networker, and JUST like network cables, speaker cables are FAR more manageable if you just buy the cable like this. I was sick of a little spool of 30 ft that was hard to strip, a pain to run, and half insulation. This is exactly what I wanted.

This will be my new go to speaker cable! So much easier having it stored in the box and pulling out only what you need for your project. The cable is soft and pliable and comes out of the box with very little effort. My speakers sound great now.

Pure copper. Just be careful not to get the rip cord stuck when pulling through, I had a long run that I had to tape back together. My fault, obviously.
