Living Together After Retirement: or, There's a Spouse in the House Paperback – July 6, 2016

My mother has been a stay at home mom/homemaker/volunteer since I was born (a LONG time ago) and my father has been in the Navy and after that retirement, has been working as a full time physician. He is slated to retire (for good) this week and the comics in this book are the EXACT scenarios that will happen around their house. I wanted an upbeat, comical book to gift my mom at his retirement party, and this hits the nail on the head! Highly recommended for the spouse that is losing their "quiet time" when their better half will be home all the time!

I purchased this for a friend who retired from her job. Her husband had already retired so they are now home together every day. It is a "cute and funny" book and perfect for the situation. Good purchase.

I thought it had a lot of very fun cartoon illustrations gave it as gift at retirement party and read many of the lines to the group. Good Value. Just what I was looking for.

Purely a little cartoon book depicting women's woes mostly, with a now retired husband at home. It is kinda cute and suitable as a token gift for a new retiree, but does not help with retirement at all.

Got this for my mom upon announcement of my dad's much deserved upcoming retirement. They ended up going through the whole book cackling together standing up all at once.It was a big hit. Sense of humor is reminiscent of Far Side.

Not great. Decided not to give it as a gift.
