Q: Is there real bergamot oil in this ?

I have no idea. All I can say is that this is weak as cats p**s. Need three bags to make a decent cup of average strength tea! My Californian cousins asked me to bring some to them and were mightily disappointed. They had seen it on a website about Harry & Negan’s wedding. Thought it must be posh tea. I had never heard of it before! Not cheap.

Q: Are the teabags individually wrapped or loose?

The teabags are the same as you would get in say Tetley Tea bags but the Earl Grey have a string attached to each tea bag. You really can smell and taste the bergamot (?spelling!!). However, just leave them in the hot water for a few minutes - I stirred them with a teaspoon and the bag burst!!!!

Q: You do not get 12 boxes. These are £1.79 in our local shop

I didn’t buy the Earl grey - I did order the cardamom one and that was the cheapest here or at any shop , that’s not a Normal Earl grey
