This V Mount battery makes my Neewer video light so much more portable.The battery is small but powerful and transforms my video light from a plug in static light to a portable moveable light. I love the display and the multiple ports that allow you to charge other devices on the go too.It is so much more than simply a battery for a video light and I am very impressed with it.

PresentationThe NEEWER Mini V Mount Battery was supplied in retail style packaging typical of the NEEWER brand from which I have had products in the past. The cardboard box in which it was sealed was branded, with the product depicted on the front, the model number on the long side and NEEWER name on top and short sides, whilst full details of the product were on the bottom of the box.First ImpressionsOpening up the packaging, there were two small boxes atop the battery, one of which contained the D Tap cable and the instruction manual, the other was empty and a transit filler as far as I could tell. The battery unit itself was in a plastic sleeve and had a protective peel off film on the display which also has NEEWER branding, and rubber seals on all of the output connections D Tap/USB C/USB A & Dual DC Ports, though no cover for the BP connectors. Underneath the unit is the V shaped mount which is metal rather than hard plastic. The unit appears to be very well built as it the norm for the NEEWER brand, but still lightweight and easy to manage in the hand.Day To Day UseThis is my go to battery for devices on my rig, including lights, mobile phone and camera if needed, it is a versatile piece of kit and in use to-date I’ve had no issues with the battery overheating or indeed getting very warm at all lukewarm is as hot as it has gotten for me. Support for fast charging both input and output is a welcome addition to the array of ports available, and the suggestion that the battery itself can be charged in 2.5-3.0 hours is accurate in my tests. Some of the features I have read about but have not had any dealings with are that the very clean and clear OLED display has alert codes for various status issues if they occur with on board protection for over voltage/current etc built in to the unit.SummaryAs we all know, photography is not a cheap hobby or indeed profession for those in that sphere, and accessories are expensive, but NEEWER do manufacture and sell their product at what I have always considered a reasonable price for the build quality, and this is no exception. Very pleased with this unit.

This is a small but mighty battery, offering 3450mAh capacity and 50Wh output which makes it a really great on the go battery, giving you plenty of power to charge multiple things at once.It has loads of outputs, which means you can give power to a large amount of devices at once, which therefore reduces risking running out of charge on some equipment while others charge. The size is also perfect for travelling whether that be locally or abroad as they can go on planes. This makes it a really great asset to have.I also like the LED screen which gives you the status of the battery and remaining power left. The screen is bright and clear to read.Its pretty expensive, but I think its worth it for the capabilities it offers and the brilliant performance it gives. A small battery that can do so much!

This has a load of output options, so you can drastically reduce the amount of batteries you need to be using, which is only ever a good thing. I would agree with another reviewer that the D-Tap cable is very short, but it's not enough of an issue for me to mark it down a star as overall it's a great little unit.The fast charging is fab, and it didn't get hot while in use, which is something I worry about so again, no complaints there.The OLED screen which shows charging and power remaining info is lovely and clear.I have only used this a handful of times so far, but it's been great each time, with no variations in power output that I've noticed.Overall, I'm very pleased with this.

I recently bought this NEEWER V-mount battery, and it's been a lifesaver for my filmmaking. It has a huge capacity, so I can shoot for hours without having to worry about running out of power.I love that it has so many different ports. I can use it to power my camera, monitor, lights, and other accessories.The OLED screen is really helpful. It shows me the battery level, so I always know how much power I have left.The battery is also very well-made. It's durable and feels like it will last a long time.If you're looking for a powerful and versatile V-mount battery, I highly recommend this one.

I ordered thid battery pack for my Sony RX10 IV setup (does need an adapter to do this). Whilst I have spare normal batteries for it, when out and about taking photos and videos it can be a pain to change them as it always seems to run out just as what I am trying to photograph is in just the right place.My main requirement was that the weight increase was not massive as a lot of my time is spent off the beaten track At just over 300g the Neewer battery provides me with a modest increase in weight alongside a generous increase in battery capacity.The pack itself is really well built just like the other Neewer products I have - lighting etc - with protective covers over the various connection ports it has (DTAP, USBC, USBA, 8v and 12v.Because of it;s relatively small size and weight it is easy to use and so I van keep an eye on my power usage it has a 1 inch monitor displaying what power is being drawn by which port. It also comes with a short DTAP cable should you need it.Whilst there are larger capacity batteries out there that come at a similar price for me this Neewer unit provides the additional power I need without the addition of excessive weight and as an addeded bonus I can charge things like earphones or mobiles at the same time.Whilst these battery packs ae not cheap I do believe they provide great value for money especially with the build quality (July 2024 - £99.99 if you use the £50 off voucher)

The multitap is very handy

I got this initially for my daughter to use it with her professional Canon camera, I thought of trying it also as a power bank for my devices. It worked great. It is a bit bulky and heavy, but I get it as it has a higher capacity, while this means longer recharging times, but also means it holds so much charge to stay up for longer times.I tried it on my S23 Ultra and Tab 7 and it was great, I also tried it on my work laptop, and although it needed 65W, but with this 45 it was able to charge it, for the other devices it meant super fast charging.I liked that the display has all the needed information about the batter and it was very clear, I also like it serves USB c& A types. *** This product was received for free under Amazon Vine program

I love this and am going to buy so many more… the ports … oh my gawd the ports on this thing… and they are so tiny… they make my rig so much simpler and lighter not having to have all those extra batteries for the monitor and camera and light etc…No Brainer.This battery = A+

This is a very versatile and solidly built battery pack designed to work with multiple photographic equipment. I actually do not have a piece of equipment that can connect to the V-mount pins directly. I got this in part for a photo and video shoot of a family member's wedding and it worked out brilliantly.This battery has an impressive 150 Wh capacity. I had with me that day a Nikon Z6ii camera, a Nikon Z30 camera, a Neewer camera field monitor, a DJI pocket 3, as well as a couple of wireless lavalier microphones with receiver. I was able to power and recharge everything for the day with this battery alone.To use this battery with all the equipment I had, I needed to get a Neewer V-mount battery plate with crab claw to mount this on a tripod, as well as both an EL25 and an EL15c dummy batteries with cable to run the two Nikon cameras directly off this battery pack when taking videos on a tripod. The dummy batteries connect to the D-tab output socket so I still had USB-A and USB-C sockets to power the monitor as well as to recharge the DJI and microphones.The battery pack is large and heavy. It weighs 835 g so it is not easy to carry when travelling although the battery capacity is right at the upper limit to be accepted in carry-on luggage on a plane.It is well built. The covers for the various power output sockets fit nicely. An OLED display on the front provides comprehensive data on the battery's status.Because of the large capacity, a fast charging adapter is needed to re-charge it in a reasonable amount of time. I used a 100W PD compliant adapter, and this unit drew 65W when charging. It took over 3 hours to recharge it from empty.While I haven't tried it, the USB-C output is PD 3.0 compliant which means it can be used to recharge various laptop computers. That increases the versatility of this battery further.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and versatility of this V-mount battery pack even though I did not get it for its V-mount configuration. Highly recommended.
